It's their normal ckn base with kampung ckn cooked inside. Feeds 3-4, the taste is exactly the same as their plain porridge

There's half a kampung ckn inside, it's got more bite than the normal white ckn

Although having it the third time I'm not as blown away anymore, but that's not on them at all

The wait is long even after you are seated. Understaffed (that day), even water took a long time to come

Quite crispy if a tad dry and with too much bite, but overall it's decent enough

A very popular place, esp w singaporeans, the Aircon makes people sit V long and so the queue moves extremely slowly. Even on a weekday morning we queued for 15-20mins

Food:
The cheese was a homogeneous slightly clumpy texture, crabstick strips filling tasted like fish balls.

Overall decent enough execution, it's not nearly as bad as I expected

Well it is different enough from the Thai sauce to be called special sauce. Not as spicy nor sour, but still spicy enough

The texture is excellent, it's a lot closer to real ckn feet than others of its kind.

The best I've had

This was alright. It's not a strong ckn base, it's more like a herbal base

Omg delicious as well. Well cooked, lovely texture, sauce was full of soy sauce fragrance

Decent, it's got quite a strong liver taste and a little bit dry

This is definitely the item to get for one pax. The portion is smaller than what you would expect, one person can easily clean this up

Consistent

Honestly the white meat is not good enough. It's dry.

Not to say that it's worse than other places' execution tho, just saying thigh and drumstick are much much better

Beansprouts had too much pepper, and the pepper was lousy
Gizzard was overcooked but clean tasting

Everything else stunned
Rice was soft, fragrant, just a little bit sticky

The ckn sauce was sweet and aromatic from soy.

Ckn is the best I've ever had. It's tender with an almost light crunch.

Soup was a light herbal soup

Red chili sauce had a nice fruitiness and quite a bit of heat. The green chili sauce was interesting, it's kind of like a blend between ginger sauce and something else I can't recall

Usually I say something like, oh you can't compare ckn rice of different styles. But today, I say this is the best of any style I've ever had.

Needless to say, this is a must visit

Idk what's the reverse part honestly but this was pretty dainty. The crumbly crust was good and the lemon flavour was well balanced. There's also a bitter cream in the middle which worked well in tandem w everything else

Overall a good piece, abit ex. Don't come an hour before they close cos they don't have many things left by then
