Mee Rebus Biasa (RM 8.90) consists of blanched yellow noodles served with delicious thick gravy, a boiled egg on the side, garnished with fried onion, green chili, Chinese parsley, crispy keropok, and lime. The gravy amazed me once again β thick, savoury, and sweet, with the fritters adding a lovely texture to the dish. The Burpple Beyond deal for a complimentary Mee Rebus dish is still valid, but communication about the deal might be a bit challenging due to limited English proficiency.
This time, I also ordered their Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (RM 11.90), a traditional dish that caught my eye during my previous visit. I'm glad I tried it β a yummylicious plate of fragrant fluffy coconut rice, hard-boiled egg, savoury crunchy fried peanuts and anchovies, sliced cucumber, and a generous serving of special-made sambal tumis, accompanied by a freshly fried chicken on the side. The coconut rice was fragrant, and the sambal tumis wins my heart with its deep, spicy, sweet, and savoury flavours. The fried chicken, although a bit greasy, had tender and flavourful meat.
After having such a fantastic meal here the first time, I'm back to feast on their Mee Rebus again. It's just that amazing.

To wash it all down, I ordered a Teh O Limau Iced (RM 2.90), which was the perfect pairing for the Mee Rebus. And if you're feeling daring, be sure to give their Esam (RM 5) a try! Overall, I highly recommend Mee Rebus House for an authentic and mouth-watering Mee Rebus experience. π€©
Yummy noods in thick and rich gravy.
We opted for the Mee Rebus Gearbox (RM 18) which was a flavour bomb with its tender mutton marrow. π The yellow noodles were cooked to perfection with no hint of the dreaded alkaline taste that can sometimes ruin noodle dishes. The thick and rich gravy was the highlight of the dish, and it was garnished with a boiled egg, crispy keropok, fried onion, green chilli, Chinese parsley, and halved lime. ππ₯πΏ
The gravy was simply amazing β thick, savoury, and sweet all at the same time. π The fritter added a lovely texture to the dish, while the egg and gamey mutton meat made for a filling and satisfying meal. The best part was getting to suck the collagen from the bone marrow! π€€
