Dining at Meadesmoore is a refined experience that takes you on a flavorful journey through perfectly crafted dishes. From start to finish, each course exceeded expectations, leaving a lasting impression.
The meal began with the Blue Prawn Capellini as the starter, a refreshing and sophisticated dish. The pasta was cooked al dente, lightly dressed in a truffle sauce that complemented the sweetness of the succulent prawns. A hint of fresh herbs added brightness, making it the perfect way to whet the appetite.
For the main course, The Meadesmoore Cut was a masterpiece. Cooked to perfection (medium-rare in my case), the meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The seared crust added a delightful smokiness. A drizzle of rich, velvety sauce tied everything together beautifully.
The grand finale was the Tiramisu, and it did not disappoint. Served elegantly, this classic Italian dessert was light yet indulgent. The layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of cocoa dusting for a bittersweet finish. Each spoonful was a delightful end to a memorable meal.
The attentive service and warm ambiance at Meadesmoore further elevated the experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself, this restaurant is a must-visit for its impeccable cuisine and inviting atmosphere.
Visited Meadesmoore for a date night with my partner after hearing so many good reviews about them!
We had a good start to the meal with the Blue Prawn Capellini which was really fragrant, followed by the star of the show which was The Meadesmoore Cut. We got to try three different cuts with this one dish, and my personal favourite was the flat iron :) We paired the beef together with the bordelaise and salsa verde sauces, which were recommended by the server, along with the Grilled Brocollini.
The night ended perfectly with the Tiramisu dessert, which the server told us was a signature at the restaurant. I love my tiramisus and this was really one of the best tiramisu I’ve tried, I would return to the restaurant just for it!
Service was really attentive. We had the steak paired with salsa verde and wine sauce. Both sauces complement the steak really well. The steak was cooked to perfection and it’s really tender ! We also had the beef tartare, the Bibb lettuce salad and the seasonal Eton mess that all went well with the meal. Very flavourful!
Had the tomahawk and bibb lettuce salad. Flavourful meat and the salad helped to give the taste buds a little rest in between the steak :) Overall a pleasant experience 😋
First time at Meadesmoore and definitely not the last:) Had Burrata, Meadesmoore cut and tiramisu. The burrata was a great light start; the freshness in the cream sauce cuts though the creamy burrata and zucchini pairing. The red wine sauce and salsa went well with the tender beef and their tiramisu was light and balanced- coffee and brandy went together seamlessly. The atmosphere was cosy and warm too; festive with a beautiful Christmas tree at the side. Would recommend for date nights, gatherings, family dinners, etc.
Burrata was fresh and complemented well with the sourness of the zucchini and green apple. Their steak here was prepared well. Their medium rare doneness was just perfect, and I especially enjoyed their undercuts. The crunchy texture of the radish paired well with the steak.
