On top of the comfortable and inviting vibes here, the cafe offers an innovative menu. Every dish that we ordered was well-executed. My special favourite was the Crispy Squid Tentacles with homemade honey lime mayonnaise. The devilishly hot Seng’s family chili sauce was also a star on its own.

An amazing culinary experience. The wagyu strip loin was well-executed, flavourful. But special kudos to the Mac n cheese and the cheesecake crepe! The cammerbert cheese that oozed out was heavenly.

I was completely blown away by their fried duck, which was tender yet crispy. Above all, their chilli sauce was amazingly good. Tahu Telor was another favourite for me too. This place is unpretentious and tucked away in a quiet corner of Singpost in the basement. But the food is truly well-done and worth the visit.

A warm and cosy bistro that serves surprisingly good food. Every dish ordered was fresh and well-executed. Highly recommend their baby squid fritters.

We have Taiwan Porridge quite regularly and Guzaoren is really one of the best places for Taiwan Porridge in Singapore. Its menu is unpretentious, wholesome, diverse and yet traditional too. Every dish is cooked to order. Instead of the usual minced meat patty and omelette dishes we always order, we tried the black pepper beef for a change. It was satisfyingly good!

I ordered the Ginseng Black Chicken Double Boiled Soup. This is the real deal! Soup was flavorful and bursting with ginseng goodness. You can tell from the taste that the herbal soup was brewed from scratch. Service was impeccable and efficient too.

Hands down for the creativity of the menu. I ordered a lovely cocktail with pipa gao, longan and hawthorn. The house wings dipped in red beancurd batter was deep fried to perfection.

I was especially wowed by the Ankimo Mousse love letter, crab croquette and Signature Fish Burger.

An unpretentious restaurant that serve mouthwateringly good ribs and steak. The slightly sweet and tangy pickled celery was a refreshing addition to the meat.

We also ordered the popcorn chicken and ribs. Both were tender and just perfectly done. A good place to chill and get together.

We found this little gem of a restaurant in Holland Grove. The deep fried burrata with balsamic vinegar pearls was creative, and the Bismarck Blanc (burrata pizza) was really tasty.

We had the set lunch here, comprising a wood-grilled appetizer and main course. The beef ribs melted in your mouth. Even the dessert featured an innovative smoked ice-cream. A gastronomic experience.

The ngor hiam here is the best I’ve had in Singapore. Each piece is handcrafted and goes with a sauce that is only found here. The sour plum drink was an excellent thirst quencher to go withthis dish.
