The best carrot cake at bukit merah view.
It's eggy and flavourful and with the right amount of radish as well.
The carrot cake is so soft and mushy, like eating lontong.
Truly unforgettable.
BBQ Sambal Stingray @$12 portion
The stingray here is damn solid. The sambal was damn shiok and taste really good.
Stingray was definitely fresh.
Will definitely return for this again
Saw people mentioned this Golden Baked Tapioca Kueh from this stall called the Mr Bakery.
And I could immediately spot this when I’m at the front of the stall, because of it attractive colour of gold.
It was said to have baked for 1.5 hours without flour. Good to eat it as soon as possible, which you would enjoy the rice and flavourful texture.
One of the carrot cake options available at this hawker centre, Unforgettable Carrot Cake has an interesting name.
The stall is located at the corner all the way to the end of the hawker centre, but it doesn't stop the regulars coming to get a plate of carrot cake.
You can only choose either white or black version, mix version is not available here. And you can request for additional fried egg added to the plate.
I wouldn’t say I would unforgettable with the taste, but it is still a decent plate of carrot cake with enough taste and spicy for me.
Wanted to try the Michelin 2023 award winning noodle ($3.50) but unfortunately char siew has run out so had the shredded chicken instead.
One unique i observed was that the noodle is sweet. Wanton wise is quite plump and flavourful.
Overall, it is a delicious meal and really like it.
This hearty plate of Black Carrot Cake from Unforgettable Carrot Cake really made me 忘不了 after trying (yes, it's THAT GOOD)! Comes in three sizes, but the super-friendly uncle highly recommended $4 for added fragrance from the double portion of eggs and generous portions. Their pre-fried radish cubes are firm but pillowy whilst evenly coated with cai poh and fried egg, and the uncle really takes his time to make sure the eggs are slightly charred for that tinge of wok hey! It helped that the flavours of the dark sauce and chilli were well-balanced, so it didn't veer towards being overwhelmingly sweet or spicy.

got this for sharing and found that it was very meaty. The skin was a good thickness but the fillings were lacking in flavor. Chestnuts did add some crunch at least :/
truly portions were humongous and value, but probably never gonna come back for this stall :(
it was q in organised so the long q was because it took almost 10 minutes to clear 1 customer.....
the charsiew was thick and generous and the veggies crunchy and well cleaned but have to say that the wantons and dumplings let us down
Random Indian food stall. Very peppery. Quite a lot of mutton, but the cheap variety. And it wasn't lost on me that I'm eating mutton soup in the hawker centre with the famous Chinese mutton soup haha.
Soft and firm carrot cake tossed with eggs and sweet dark sauce. We ordered the $3 portion to share and they are quite generous with their serving. The taste of dark sweet sauce uplifts the dish but may not favour those who don't like their carrot cake to be sweet. It may be a little too greasy for one person to have it all 》$3 + $0.50 Egg

A decent bowl of prawn noodle but the ingredients given was quite less considering we ordered the biggest portion that came with 4 halved prawns, slices of pork and fish cake then topped with fried shallots 》$4/Big

Very tasty fried carrot cake. Call me “suai gu” but I have not eaten such flavourful carrot cake before. It’s really 忘不了!! Can’t eat other carrot cake after this.
Hands down the best tapioca kueh I’ve ever tasted!! Fluffy, thick and tasty - whether you have it nicely baked from the oven or left overnight, it still tastes so good. Very value for money also for the portion you get at $1.30! You’ll be coming back for more!
This stall sell fresh ytf, with good soup base and homemade sambal chilli.
Best is fried items will be re fried give crispy bite.

The fried carrot cake is sweet and salty with good crunch from the cai po.
The wanton noodles are $3 from R&D. The wantons are very tasty. Order this if you like the black sweet type of sauce. Char siew not bad.
They were sold out of wan ton but the dumplings were big and crunchy. $3
Their chilli had a touch of tomato and the noodles were thick. I slightly prefer this one over the R&D one.
Even on a small portion which comes in a bowl, it comes with a myriad of items alongside the kway teow which tasted pretty good, especially when drenched in sweet and chilli sauce, and also comes topped with vegetables and pork lard! The soup that accompanied the yong tau foo was very peppery, yet very comforting to have!
I settled for 323 Food & Beverage Western Food because the other shop I wanted was closed! :/ This was a decent portion at 6 bucks but I have a story to tell.
The menu says chicken chop and there was another item that said black pepper lamb chop so I assumed that they weren’t gonna put the black pepper but alas, my chicken chop came with black pepper which I really didn’t like. :/// Sigh but wasn’t gonna make a fuss out of it. The chicken was relatively tender. But other than that, the fries (probably processed), baked beans (probably from the cans) and coleslaw were pretty meh. The people manning the stall were friendly but I think I’d probably try another dish like the codfish if I ever order from this stall again.
Ticked all the boxes. No major flaw. Saw their char siew being marinated in generous amounts of char siew sauce and it showed.
