The chicken satay comes with a charred exterior with a nice smoky taste that complemented the accompanying traditional peanut sauce 》$0.60 / Stick (Min. 10 Sticks)
75 BBQ Chicken Wing | #01-28
The chicken wings are well marinated and skillfully barbeque into golden brown colour with an aromatic crisp. The meat is very juicy tender and just nice in terms of its moisture and degree of firmness 》$1.40 Each (Min. 2 Pcs)
75 BBQ Chicken Wing | #01-28
Salmon in a rich and clear broth. The broth is light and robust with hints of saltiness. The fishes were thickly sliced, tender and succulent. Not to mention how generous they are with the portion. This portion is good enough to feed 2pax 》$10
Fish Soup | #01-07
Oh this was sinfully delicious! The marinade was my favourite part, a good savoury and sweet combination. The chicken was juicy and tender. What a surprise find!
Likeable dishes: zhichar wok dishes to seafood, favourites, and sets are available. This is savoury fried seafood kway teow. #01-34
Bathed in a soupy tangy vinegar sauce, I gave the ultra smooth noodles a good toss to coat every strand. What sets this stall apart from the rest is their soup. What is alluring about their soup is the umami flavour thickened with their ba chor, and egg. Pairing it with the al dente noodles which were firm to the bite, each slurp was robust and multidimensional. ☺

You should try this hidden gem at toa payoh area. It is only open for lunch time with a quite long queue. I always enjoy Teochew Porridge. Bring back childhood memories as my mum like to cook Teo chew porridge. It is great that everyone share and enjoy the humble simple looking but delicious dishes! My favourite is the tender Braised Duck. 😍

Simple fried kuey teow from Father to Daughter but contains full of love ❤️ . We're really fortunate to have a taste of fried kuey teow. Sorry to my readers, fried kuey teow is not open to public. I'll definitely be one of the first to boost this fried kuey teow once it's open to the public 😋. Fret not! You can still try their Hokkien mee at Toa Payoh Hawker Center. .

Nothing like a good plate of oily fried kway teow to end off the day~ sinful and delicious.
This week's #feedthetheme is Nasi lemak! I have not eaten many of this fish in my life but Wow this Nasi lemak is nice~ the Pandan rice is so good. Very fragrant and the Pandan taste and smell is so strong. It served with an egg, chicken wing and ikan bilis. I added Extra sausage and crab stick in Chili sauce. Tpy always have such hidden gems. 😍😍
A little too dry for my personal preference but still a decent ❣ It's one of our Singaporean's favourite hawker food choice ❣

Recently moved to Toa Payoh Blk 75 (Supper Hawker). Smaller stall, lesser manpower and smaller menu but their operation hours were more convenient. .
|
Golden fried egg yolk broke into the steamy white rice with the aromatic basil pork. Spicy and appetizing sourness while the big prawn released its sweetness to the soup. .
|
Because they just moved to their new stall, quality control and the "feel" of the kitchen still need some time getting use to (**Beware of the MSG used). But if you are looking late night cheap Thai food, this place is not a bad choice. .

After hours of playing basketball, my classmates and I would go to Toa Payoh Lorong 5 hawker centre to satisfy our meaty cravings. We'd order some juicy wings and savory satay, then wash them down with ice cold cups of sugar cane. Nowadays, we don't play basketball anymore, but we simply go there for the late night supper. The sugar cane has been replaced with beer, and we spend our time chit-chatting about our school days. #Hawkerpedia
it's good with many chinese delicacies and especially local Singaporean hawker eats. I hope I'm not tempting you guys but this will go into tomorrow's fried kuay teow at the famous lorong 5 stall
thank you auntie for letting me take the shot.
The just-right wetness of the hokkien mee is what makes it so delicious and special!!
Open till 12am, good place to chill till midnight in Toa Payoh. Overall felt that the food is mediocre. No particular stall to rave about.
