Bedrock Bar & Grill

This was part of their 3 course lunch set where we opted for the truffle mushroom soup as the appetizer and ribeye steak and barramundi fish for the mains. we ended with the burnt cheesecake and honeycomb ice cream as desserts.

the barramundi fish was delightful. skin was crispy, the fish was so smooth and i enjoyed it with the mashed potatoes. the sauce was on the saltier side.

the steak was served with thyme butter and thick cut fries

a good end to a lovely meal. the crème brûlée was super soft and eggy. i love it!!! the sugar was also caramelised nicely

the main reason why i decided to visit bedrock was for their mac and cheese. the macaroni was not the typical curved shaped kind, but rather it’s the skinner and longer type. cheese was nicely burnt to give a nice crust and was not too salty as well

i was expecting the bacon to be more substantial as those served were rather thin and the menu wrote ‘thick cut bacon’. so that was rather disappointing

buns were buttered nicely, but not super soft.
lobster meat came in chunks which were fresh and rather juicy. went well with the cheese

this was my fav beef of the night.

it’s prob my second time eating lamb and i’m sold. the lamb was super tender and does not have this gamey taste. cooked perfectly
