This indeed one of the better lor mee I had for some times. Gravy was thick and flavourful.
Maybe it's the longer opening hours as compared to where it originally was at Old Airport road, where queue was always snaking. Now at this outlet, there's no more queue anymore.
Not bad.
Quite refreshing.
The Canteen by Enjoy is situated at the ground floor of this damn Old school looking hotel, felt a little like I was transported back to the 70s after I entered the hotel and into this establishment.
Food was more than decent, it was actually damn good in fact.
1) Sambal Stingray
- was a rather small portion. But the sambal was great, tasted like plenty of onions was used. Stingray meat was tender and easily slides off the bone. A little Pricey, if u compare with those hawker centres/coffee shops.
2) Hokkien Mee
- Strong Wok hei, fresh prawns, shiok sambal.

One of my favourite late night supper place to go do. Everytime come here must have their herbal pork mee sua. The pork meats were all tender, and soup was very flavourful. A must have when u visit Seng Kee.
Another must have dish here, is their chaota bee hoon, blanchan with lime goes so well with the bee hoon. All the seafood are hidden under the blanket of chaota bee hoon.
The prawn paste Chicken also not bad, crispy skin was shiok.
Seng kee is a great option for any late night supper.
A nice quiet & cozy cafe at bukit timah that is popular for their waffles, more specifically for their savory waffles.
As I was more of a dessert feel when I came during tea time on a lazy weekend, decided to get a sweet and buttery waffles instead. Got a "Fly me to Mars" Waffle. Waffles were crispy and smells so buttery.
Also decided to have 2 smoothies:
1) Bananarama
- Banana, Honey, Milk
2) Gila about Gula
- Gula Melaka, cookie Crumble, Coconut Milk
Both of which was milkilicious and felt so decadent.
Nice quiet environment. Rather popular too, maybe hard to get seats and parking spaces. So be prepared to have a backup plan, if either of which is not forthcoming.

What a hidden gem of a satay here at East coast lagoon. This has to be 1 of my favourite satay of all time.
There are many many satay stalls at ECLFV, but this may be the only stall that is not halal.
The pork belly satay was tender, juicy, flavourful. Don't even need to dip into the satay sauce.
Geylang 29 Charcoal Fried Hokkien Mee was rather good, prawns were fresh.
Decent Wok hei.
Geylang 29 East coast lagoon outlet and their 936 E Coast Rd outlet are related, thus the same name.
Not to be confused with Swee Guan, the more popular HKM that is still at geylang lorong 29 and was the original store, that geylang 29 branched out from.
Lagoon Famous Carrot cake has been around at ECLFV for more than a decade already, its always been around since I can remember. And their carrot cake is a rather popular store here.
Their carrot cake Not bad, crispy around the edges.
A must have when u visit ECLFV
Although not as renowned as other BKT shops in Sg, Tuan Yuan BKT is actually rather good. It is flavourful and slightly peppery.
U can actually opt for more or less pepper for your soup, depending on your preference.
The Premium spare Ribs were so tender and was not dry or gamey at all. The meat easily slides off the bone.
You tiao was rather good as well crispy.
