Located outside of Hougang Mall, you can get this cutesy and delish pork chop bun from Seng Huat Coffee House. The soft and fluffy bun is shaped in a pig’s face and sandwiched between it is a well marinated juicy pork chop, cheese and keypie mayo. Get the bun set at $5.80 which comes with 2 soft boiled eggs and a cup of kopi.

Despite passing by the kopi tiam just next to Hougang Mall numerous times, it was only recently that I discovered these “piglet buns” from the coffee stall.

Fluffy buns shaped like a pig’s head with raisins for eyes, they come with three different fillings: pork chop ($3.80), chicken cutlet ($3.80), and ham & egg ($3.50). Or simply get the set (plus two eggs and a coffee/ tea) for $5.80.

The 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗻, with a humongous piece of chicken that was delightfully deep fried, immediately caught my attention. Crispy and juicy, it was excellent.

I initially gave the 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗕𝘂𝗻 a condescending look as the slab of pork was pretty small. However it was very well-seasoned and succulent. What it lacked in size, it made up for in flavour.

The 𝗛𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗴𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗻 looked unassuming, but it was very tasty as well, thanks in no small part to the fried egg. All three selections proved to be stellar and you can’t really go wrong with any of them.

We've seen long queues here before and decided to give it a try. It tastes not bad but we've had better before.

Only got two pieces of meat which makes me a little sad.

One of the best Bak Chor Mee up North.

The fishball is handmade and is damn big and taste good.

The Mee sua soaks up the flavours so well. The pork lard just make this so much nicer as well.

So conveniently located next to hougang MRT Station as well.

Lol I finally tried this. Why they need to use a pig bun is beyond me but it's hilarious. The whole thing was very flaccid but it's quite good.
