The char siew is pretty good, there's no crisp but texture was on point, tender with a slight bite. The sweet marinade was has a great depth too

霸王泡饭,吃了霸气十足。 Unique savoury Tonkotsu Prawn broth with a medium charred note. Sliced beef was juicy, tender and beefy. The fats from the slice beef was chewy. Crispy rice was given in a small packet for you to pour on your own so that it will not become soggy fast.
Overall, okay 霸.

The hae bee comes thru quite well, and the bamboo shoots came in huge cubes. Not bad at all

Another love letter… I was at Jurong Point Kopitiam for dinner on 6th Dec at 7.15pm. Menus on the screen and menus on the table are different! This caused the cashier to mix orders up very easily. Luckily I checked on the counter.

However, even thought I checked, I ordered Pork yet was served Beef? I am a holy Buddhist and do not take Beef at all… really disappointed. Beware!!!

Super starchy and gooey but flavoursome plate of fried flour mixture with a nice outer layer of crisp cooked with a few plumpy oyster in it. Finished off with a garnishing of spring onions.
Best to share to avoid the jelakness overtime. Comes with a sourish spicy chilli. The fried oyster they always cooked with a bit of spiciness too.

Standard smoked duck with chewy skin drizzled with thick braised sauce plated with a choice of roasted pork or char siew. We had the char siew. Char siew was awesome! It was sweet, succulent and fatty. Wish they give more char siew. Comes with cucumber too.

Mee Sua was comforting and yummy. Slurpy thin noodles in savoury gravy. The gravy leans toward more watery than starchy which shouldn't been the case but at least still tasty. The small oyster were pretty plumpy despite its looks and fit with every mouthful of mee sua. Help yourself with the pouring of vinegar to add some sourish pungent aroma.

Braised Pork Rice($5.80)😐
This, on the other hand, I will not recommend yall to have this. Looks pretty good but not even close to Taiwan Standard and just tasted weird. Braised meat were hard to chew and the flavour it gives is just uniquely weirdly kinda salty. Not juicy at all. Can't really explained about it. Pearl rice the egg were okay. The braised sauce just doesn't suits my palate. I had a hard time swallowing this. Sad. Comes with pickles which were surprisingly refreshing.
