comes w pork katsu, fried fish, pork shabu shabu, shrimp tempura and melted cheese. personally think that only the pork katsu and tempura go well with the curry
S$ 13.90
Perfectly toasted bread served with Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream. When hot meets cold.
My first taste of Monster Curry and had ordered a combo, which consisted of chicken katsu, 2pcs jumbo ebi and 2pcs sausages. Known for its curry and spicy level, Japanese curry tend to be on a sweeter side which complement well with the Japanese short-grain rice. The katsu was crispy and tender as well. Value for money, it was a relatively big portion for ladies so best to share (unless you are super hungry).
💵: $18.80
🤔: First time trying something other than their fried items and I quite liked it
This is pretty worth it imo as it also came with the egg which I usually have to add on
Beef was tender and not dry in any way, not bad indeed!
Would recommend sharing w friends bc the portions here r rly monstrous yo not kidding. The plate is maybe 2x bigger than my face? But my friends eat ALOT so we got one combo (for 2-3pax) & one ebi fry (1-2pax) to share among 3 of us. Food is p good I would say like comfort food can never go wrong ey. We got lvl 5 spicy but it was p okay not too bad just enough heat :-)
Giant plates and 6 levels of spicyness, that would probably be what Monster Curry was all about. Paying S$14.80 for this meal was considered quite value for money, considering that the portions were not overrated.
The Pork Shabu-Shabu Omelette Curry came with quite a good portion of sliced pork belly. Though it was only steamed rice under the blanket of egg omelette, the flavours were compensated by the pool of Japanese curry and the cabbage salad with sesame dressing and picked ginger.
But mind you, the chilli could blow you over the rooftop if you were not so much into spicy food, even with Level 1 spicyness (which was what you had seen on the photograph). To play safe, ask the waiters to serve the chilli separately and mix sparingly and cautiously to make the experience less fiery. When all else fails, bottled mineral water could be obtained at S$1.50 each.
Did not try the actual monster curry as i came alone. Their normal curry was really good though. I dont eat a lot of japanese curry, but it is the best for as long as i remember. Do note tha5 the level one spiciness has already quite a kick to it 4.25/5
Level 2 spiciness was just nice for me personally , the fried fish was really nice and it goes well with the curry , at a price of $24 and able to fill 2 pax tummy , worth it 👌🏻
Shared with 2 persons and downed it in a few minutes! Love the curry taste. The sausages are strangely addicting 😝
OMG huge plate of curry that was super filling even for two. The fish was nice and the curry was not spicy.
The Sea Monster Curry ($24) is a humongous plate of fried fish, fried scallop, tempura, fried shrimp, rice, and a river of curry sauce! The plate is literally big and heavy, along with the meal itself. I don't think my hungry self could finish this alone 😂 I arrived late thus the texture of the curry isn't as nice when it was still hot - but still thick and sweet 👌🏻. All fried meat were served nicely and not too dry :) We chose spice level 1 only and I already find it a bit spicy (haha spicy weakling). Heard that level 5 is very hot, so choose at your own risk 😁
Me and one my friend sharing this combo plate curry rice, we love the curry sauce. I cant eat spicy food, so we ordered spicy level 2, it is acceptable for us. will try for lvl 3 nextime 😁😁
Last week's weather was crazy hot, this week had been raining cats and dogs. Whatever the reasons that make you stay in, you don't have to go hungry - Deliveroo to the rescue! 😉 Ordered in the Combo Curry (S$25) from Monster Curry - the serving was so monstrous, it came in two separate boxes with Pork Katsu, Fried Fish, Pork Shabu Shabu, Shrimp Tempura and Cheese; added an Onsen Egg for S$1, and opted for Level 2 of 5 for spice level (which was already very spicy for a chilli queen like me!! So do choose your level with caution! 🌶🌶) This portion was good for 2 pax.

Hoho, this is the second time I had this. Bowl is very big but food is just enough for one person. Price ranged $9-30 per bowl. Mine is the Cheese Pork Katsu Curry. It is $14 which I think is quite affordable. Delicious and service was quick :) recommended to all !!
Really love the curry sauce here!!! And when you up the spice level, they squeeze in this spicy paste where they decorate in a form of heart shape. We had Extra Spicy and yes, you can taste the kick. Nice!!
The ingredients are pretty generous in amount and it goes well with the sauce and rice.
Will definitely return for more!!!! 👍🏼
Love how big the plates were and the availability to add on more spice to it. Priced at $13.
