The Crispy Silver Hill Duck served with Homemade Crepes ($68.00 / Half) was the highlight of the meal. Not really knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by how succulent the meat was. Prepared with London duck sourced from Ireland's famed Silver Hill Farm, the dish resembles a large duck confit in my opinion. Marinated then deep-fried to a crisp, before being shredded like floss to be wrapped in the crepes and the accompanying condiments; the protein was very flavourful. Although you donā€™t get the glistening duck skin, you do get bits of crunch from the well-fried skin and it proved to be an interesting change from the usual Beijing Duck - a lighter alternative yet just as satisfying and substantial.

My go-to order at every dim sum restaurant, their Deep-fried Beancurd Skin Roll with Prawn ($6.80/ 3 pieces) delivered a superbly crisp-flakey exterior and the interior was wonderfully succulent. Served piping hot, the prawn filling was also nicely seasoned and sweet.

A nice spot for some dim sum brunch with the girls, Min Jiang at Dempsey was real fancy.

Complete with golden flakes, the Steamed Chicken with ā€˜Nai Baiā€™ and Dried Scallop Dumpling ($9.80/ 3 pieces) was savoury, plump, and tender. The vibrant jade-coloured skin was a tad thick and it got cold pretty quickly but the flavours were on point.

The Deep-fried ā€˜Golden Pearā€™ Curry Chicken with Mushrooms ($8.80/ 3 pieces) was fried to golden perfection. I liked that the crunchy batter wasnā€™t too thick and it didnā€™t feel greasy at all. The spice level was mild and it was overall pretty fragrant. Love the mini chocolate balls too as they added some crunchy decadence.
