Canβt get my mind off this Smoked Brisket Burger ($21++) from @mamasoisg! β€β€β€ Featuring a generous amount of pulled beef using 12-hour smoked brisket π, seasoned with asian herbs & chili sauce, the filling was definitely the highlight of the dish! π The luscious caramelised onions added a sweet touch to the savoury meats, making the taste profile a well-balanced & tantalising one! πππ Sandwiched between two fluffy & buttery buns, this was undoubtedly my favourite dish! π― Comes with fries π perfect for munching on!

πΉοΈBraised Pork Belly Bao ($11++): features a thick slab of braised pork belly π sandwiched between soft buns, topped with coriander, crispy shallots, haus relish, crushed peanuts π₯ & haus sauce! The cut of meat used was pretty lean which I really liked as it wasnβt overly fatty nor greasy! ππ» While I would have loved the pork belly to be more succulent, I must say that it was flavourful! π The crushed peanuts added an alluring nutty fragrance to every bite! π
.
πΉοΈBeef Rendang Bao ($11++): filled with a generous amount of braised beef π with burnt chili mayo πΆ & caramelised onions, I utterly enjoyed the flavours! Very well-marinated & seasoned, the sweet-savoury taste profile really appealed to me. β€β€β€ Would be perfect if the beef could be even more tender, but I enjoyed this nonetheless! ππ»

πΉοΈBird Manβs Chicken & Cheese Bao ($11++): just who can resist fried chicken! π Chicken thigh meat is battered & fried to the perfect crisp, & that layer of savoury melted cheese π§ just aced it. Together with truffle mayo & crushed peanuts, this was akin to Chinese take on burgers. ππ»

Almost a staple on every table, their signature Son-in-Law Eggs ($7++) really impresses on presentation. π― Letβs forget about any connotation on the dishβs name & focus on the food itself! π
.
Texture-wise, I would say that it is a cross between hard-boiled eggs & Ajitsuke Tamago (ramen egg). π₯ Cutting through the firm egg white unveils a runny yolk that lends a nice luscious mouthfeel. π€€π€€π€€ Liked that the eggs were greasy at all despite being deep-fried to paint that golden brown on the exterior. ππ»
.
The highlight would have to be the accompanying mama's signature chilli jam πΆ, which gives the eggs more oomph with its slight spicy kick. πππ Served on basil leaves & tipped with sliced chilli, this was certainly an elegant way of presenting eggs on a plate! π

Got the Son in Law eggs for starters - it came with chilli jam and a creamy center. Our mains followed - Miso Truffle Prawn pasta & Laksa pasta. The Miso Truffle was too salty despite several mouths and I feedbacked for a change, which the restaurant kindly recooked a new plate for me. Laksa pasta came lukewarm, was pretty dry and taste wise - felt like I could recreate it with the PrimaDeli laksa paste at home. Not sure if I'll be back, thought the atmosphere was good!
