Always like going to Maki-San because I get to customise my sushi roll 😌 And I’m very happy to see that Maki-San has been consistently introducing new options/ideas!!

Got myself a roll with purple sweet potato (new!), cherry tomatoes, steamed prawns, avocado and mushrooms. The purple sweet potato was good! Added the Indonesian Sweet Sauce, which was a new addition as well. The sweet sauce was really good but also quite spicy!

The 20% off promo is back! and we can’t miss it!! Have to admit that we love collecting their cute Roll box. 🀩 So tempted to play around with animated video on their website but we are very focused to get our dinner. πŸ˜„ We skip the play and proceed to order on their bio link on IG.

The California dreaming has got avocado, tamago Yaki (omelette), crab stick, ebiko (prawn roe), edamame bean, shredded carrots, cucumber. The combo is tasty & (a bit) healthy. Wish they go easy on mayo though as it could go rather sweet.

Note: 20% off is for self pick up takeaway using their code β€œ20OFF” (enjoy this while it lasts) πŸ‘Œ

Got 20% off through the online promotion with pick up in store option! (It just ended yesterday tho😒)The 🌸 meal was $14.25 including 2 slices of Sakura cakes, 2 pink Maki rolls & 1 pink Qoo drink~πŸ₯€
Not a fan of wasabi, but the avocado πŸ₯‘ taste was smooth! Great and valuable meal!😊

To prevent myself from getting food coma from carb overload, I got a Mega Maki-San Salad with Ayataka Green Tea [$11.90] for lunch. It’s quite filling even though it’s all greens and you get to opt for some meat on the side too.

My favourite sides are the peanut anchovies and honey soy chicken. I like the crunch of the peanut and the slight sweetness of the anchovies. Although the chicken meat isn’t exactly tender, I enjoy the honey soy flavour.

The ingredients are not the freshest but they are still decent for a good meal. The main highlight of the salad for me is the large variety of interesting accompanying sauces ranging from local favorites such as salted egg yolk to sambal chili. No more of the usual Thousand Island Sauce or Mayonnaise, it’s time to try something new!

It’s a good choice when you want to eat clean on some days.

With egg crepe wrap, Japanese white rice, edamame beans, sweet corn kernels, takuan / yellow daikon radish, tamagoyaki / egg omelette, sliced cheddar cheese, seaweed nori strips, teriyaki sauce, and grilled unagi / eel.
.
Flavours of smoky sweet eggy earthy, with textures of chewy, firm, crunchy, soft, tender, juicy.
.
Very nice, though this wrap is really loose, and the ingredients kept falling out.
