So a colleague quipped that little farms had the best most expensive fish & chips he had of late, so I was intrigued to check it out.
When the plate arrived I was immediately brought back to my time in London because of the mushy peas looking smashed edamame and chunky chips. He was right that the battered locally-caught Barramundi fillet was divine. While $30 for fish & chips is definitely not cheap it is worth ordering again :)
We also shared a salad to balance out the meal which was hearty yet refreshing, adding blueberries to a salad is rare but it surprisingly worked well. You also get half an avocado which I reckoned comes from the grocer so you can help your self to more if you’d like to bring some home.

Feeling less than satisfied for Mother’s Day dinner we thankfully found ourselves at Little Farms for dessert and small bites.
Another cake for Mother’s Day was the Pistachio Rose and because mum wanted something moreish she ordered the Beer Battered Smokey Paprika Cauliflower. The cake was faultless and I’d say on a crowded Saturday evening both items were good to have over conversations in a beautifully furnished space overlooking a street of the Joo Chiat enclave (we sat at the window seats).

we tried the π—•π˜‚π˜π˜π—²π—Ώπ—»π˜‚π˜ π—£π˜‚π—Ίπ—½π—Έπ—Άπ—» π—šπ—»π—Όπ—°π—°π—΅π—Ά ($28), a dense gnocchi paired with buttery pumpkins, and topped with parmigiano and an assortment of toasted nuts. while the gnocchi alone had a very mild and subtle taste, the pumpkin really amplified the flavour of the dish. the serving size was deceptively small too, but was actually extra filling. if you’re someone who likes chewy-textured food, i would suggest you give this a try!

Stuff your face without the guilt – the Big Veggie Breakfast features wholesome and tasty nosh, such as free-range Barossa eggs, mushrooms, baby spinach, vine-ripened tomatoes, avocado, haloumi cheese and the surprise show-stealer - a very moreish, smoky take on baked beans.

Christmas may have just gone by but that still doesn’t mean we can’t have breakfast dranks to usher in the holiday spirit. Cheery and eggnog-esque, this smooth and creamy concoction of arabica liqeur, vodka and spiced vanilla will warm hearts as well as bellies. Topping things off are a trio of adorable mini roasted marshmallows on a stick.
