Finally tried @isshinmachi_sg !
Got the following items:
-Porl Wonton Noodles with Feiry Chilli Oil ($9.10+$1): Topped up $1for their Guan Miao Noodles, and it was a superb choice! Super love the Guan Miao Noodles! Chewy and QQ! Love the spicy chilli sauce as well! Plump pork wantons! This was so good!
-Hakka Style Braised Meat Rice ($9): When the bowl was served, I was quite surprised by the small size of it. However, it was still quite a filling portion! Tender meat with braised egg. The fat to meat ratio is still too much for me though.
-Moon Shape Prawn Cake ($11): This caught my attention because of the name. Urm but why is it moon shaped? LOL I dont quite see any resemblance. Anw, this was like crispy popiah skin wrapping prawn fillings. Quite like it! But the chilli sauce was not very compatible imo
-Taiwanese Black Sugar Winter Melon ($3): Fancy drink, black sugar! But frankly, it tastes just like normal wintermelon drink

This was a well-executed bowl of Lu rou fan. Was greeted with an aroma upon serving. The braised meat was soft and tender, and the cut had a good balance of meat and fat which made the braised meat literally melt in your mouthπ€€ A very flavourful bowl with gravy that was of a slightly thick consistency, and all the ingredients complemented well with one another. Iβd highly recommend coming here for your braised meat rice fix!

Juicy and huge wantons that sat in a plate of black vinegar and chilli. Though written as fiery chilli oil, this version is unlike the usual Szechuan chilli oil dumplings. This had a good amount of black vinegar, and the chilli was dashed atop the wantons for that added spicy kick. Evidently, the chilli already looks different from the usual chilli oil β but more on the red (belachan) paste. Nonetheless, the chilli was good, but just not enough! Would have appreciated if this whole dish was elevated to be even spicier with more of their chilli paste.

Crispy chicken cutlet that was seasoned with salt and pepper. This chicken cutlet epitomised trade offs. Itβs not the juiciest, but any juicier would probably mean that it might be too oily. Itβs not the most flavourful either, but any more could make it easily way too salty. Ultimately, I think Isshin Machi attempted to strike a good balance β trying to maintain a good crispiness while avoiding the overt oiliness and saltiness. Not a mindblowing must-try, but this is a decent sharing plate!

Thinly textured Asaam tea that was light and not too sweet.

The shrimps came in big size and the egg fried rice rich in the flavours. You could taste the egg in every bites of the rice.
