Magic is for those who want milk in their coffee yet want a stronger kick simply because it’s equal parts espresso and milk. Slightly less milky but really packs a punch. Neptune has two options — Mr Cuddles & Mr Brightside. Went for Mr Cuddles that had a slightly more nutty and chocolatey notes. The brew here was really smooth!

Craft beer from That Singapore Beer Project.
This might just be the East Coast plan we are promised — a good pint of light-bodied beer with slight fruity notes. Not going to lie but personally found this on the slightly expensive side, especially when a corona would satiate my beer cravings any day.

Couldn’t really taste the osmanthus but it’s guaranteed a very creamy yet sour cocktail!

This was a cup of decently smooth latte with mild acidity.
Got this hot latte as part of the pairing set ($6), which gets you 1 hot beverage and 1 kueh.

Mild tasting cocktail that had a combination of citrusy notes and a light touch of vanilla. The vanilla helped to give a very creamy undertone, and the passionfruit taste was very refreshing!

Sangria that’s meant to be boozy with Prosecco and tequila. Funnily enough I could not actually taste much of the alcohol probably because of the pleasant fruitiness from the yuzu, apple and white peach, but it still packed a decent alcoholic punch!

Iced Latte that was on the bitter and more acidic side. Probably have to ask for sugar syrup if you find this too harsh for you.

Smooth and good hot latte. Explains why it’s an unsurprising sight to see people there meeting over a cup of coffee.
Chocolate shake was totally of the right, creamy texture. Interestingly, they use vanilla ice cream with a mix of cocoa powder, which probably helped in reducing the sweetness of the chocolate shake. A bit on the pricey side for a chocolate shake but it was really a good balance of chocolatey, creamy, and sweetness (but not too much).

Iced Latte was decent. Smooth with a slight sweetness, nothing too acidic.

Caramel latte was a tad too sweet, but I guess that is what you ask for with a caramel latte. So this is definitely a coffee for the sweet tooth!

I’m late to the Arabica party but I can understand the fad over it. Walking past the store, you can already smell the aroma of their coffee. But tasting it was even better. Their roast is strong, smooth and, well-balanced. Not harsh with a jarring acidity, but easy on the palate. The iced Spanish latte had a good tinge of sweetness to it, nothing too overwhelming yet enough to balance out the bitterness. It came together to make a milky cup of coffee with a smooth and slightly thicker than usual consistency. While I enjoyed it, I have to admit that it’s slightly on the higher price point.
