if you prefer less sweet sambal and a runny yolk, the nasi lemak ($4.50) here is the one for u! both fried chicken and coconut rice are comparable

In the past, I used to prefer International before moving over to Mizzy Corner but having tried both International and Mizzy Corner again in a single seating, I guess I am back to the International camp. Particularly, both the basmati coconut rice and sambal hit the right spots today as the sambal is not too sweet and slightly on the spicier side, and the accompanying fried egg had a runny yolk to complement it. The fried chicken has always been good, so there is nothing wow about it today if you have it fresh off the wok.

For just SGD3.50, you get a plate of fragrant coconut rice, a crispy chicken wing, a fried egg, ikan bilis, cucumber slices and a dollop of sweet & spicy sambal chilli.

Double the enjoyment by getting another piece of fried chicken wing! You won’t regret it...😉

Basmati rice was fragrant, egg was well cooked and fried chicken was the best! Have asked for less rice as we had another meal before this... Caution: chili is very spicy, pls add with moderation. Definitely will return, even with the queue!

Similarly, the wait can take some time especially during lunch hours but this is a small price to pay for a plate of coconut infused rice that comes with a fried egg, cucumbers, fried anchovies and chicken wing. Comparing to Mizzy Corner, this stall wins in terms of the perfectly fried golden brown chicken wings which was well marinated and spiced. The coconut rice is slightly heavy on the coconut flavour while the sambal is more towards sweet than spicy. Overall, both stalls got their own merits and if I were to choose, I will go for the one with the shorter queue.

If there's one thing Changi Village Hawker Centre is known for, it's nasi lemak stalls. Served here is everything you'd expect from the perfect plate of Nasi Lemak ($3.50) — fragrant jasmine rice, a fried egg, piping hot and crispy chicken, crispy ikan bilis and addictively flavourful sambal. Get additional sides like the fish fillet or hotdog for a dollar each.
