Nasi Lemak
if you prefer less sweet sambal and a runny yolk, the nasi lemak ($4.50) here is the one for u! both fried chicken and coconut rice are comparable
i liked that basmati rice was used!! makes this nasi lemak a little more unique. chicken was crispy and juicy too. but the sambal was sooo sweet literally 0 spice which is q a disappointment
chicken wing was crispy and juicy but the rice was lacking the last time i had it. this time, it was the other way round; rice was fragrant & nicely seperated while the chicken was dry & lacking in flavour. sambal is on the sweet side too. not the best nasi lemak, but itâs the ultimate comfort/supper food to me!
finally tried this popular nasi lemak. rice was reallyy fragrant but chicken was dry and sambal was more sweet than spicyđŁ wouldnât return esp since itâs so expensiveđ
compared to the clementi outlet, this is more generous and has a HUGE chicken drumstick set!
BUT the milo here doesnât have crushed ice and not as gaođđź
chicken cutlet set takeaway ($5.20)
the saba fish is hUge today!!
chicken can be a bit dry without the sauce! i prefer the teriyaki fish :)
omg i thinkâŚi prefer this over their fried chicken nasi lemak. never knew teriyaki sauce would go so well with nasi lemak
idk why this isnât on the menu but it should be because the chicken is soo tender and crispyđ much more worth than the wings set
I thought it would be just colouring but NO the coconut-infused blue pea rice was sO fragrant omg𼼠However, it may be too hard for those who prefer their rice fluffy.
