Every cocktail had a story, which was a nice touch. Really well presented by the waiters when serving too.
Food was great and atmosphere cozy
ordered the cod fish & chips and the guiness beef bourguignon for the mains! thoroughly enjoyed the beef main and it was really tender and paired really well with the garlic confit mashed potatoes.
for cocktails, we got the wish upon a lantern and last man standing. the drinks are fascinating with back story explanations and added interesting theatrics to the meal!
definitely recommend for people who would like to have an exotic cocktail to pair with your meal!
First of all, I have to say how much I loved the ambience here. My friend and I spent the entire night chatting away, thanks to how comfortable the place is! We decided to try the Barramundi Fish & Chips and the Pangium Beef Bourguignon.
The fish and chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, but the true standout was the beef cheeks. They were tender with a rich, robust flavor, and the mashed potatoes provided a nice contrast in both texture and taste, bringing balance to the dish.
The drinks were just as impressive. Each one looked so Instagram-worthy that it took me a while to decide, but I eventually went with the "Last Man Standing". I loved how the bourbon really shone through, which was refreshing compared to places where the alcohol can taste watered down.
Overall, this is a new spot I've discovered that Iโll definitely be recommending to my friends when weโre looking for a place to unwind after work!
lobster linguine tasted very similar to chilli crab and we loved it. taste even better with the chewy linguine.
cocktails here are super fanciful. got to write our own wishes as well. you can choose to customise your cocktails to your own liking too.
Inspired by Chinese sky lanterns, this drink lets you write your wishes on lanterns and release them after. They say alcohol solves all problems, but what they didn't mention is that you might be too drunk to remember the problems. The drink is beautifully crafted with gin, mangosteen juice, lime, Thai basil and palm sugar cordial, Kyoho Murasaki grape liqueur, and kewra water. A sweet and tart remedy that grows stronger and more lovable with each sip.
Hoping for luck with this burnt amulet drink. A robust concoction of Cempedek scotch, peppermint, coconut water, gula melaka, carob, jaggery, and coconut shurb. A rustic and strong drink, delivering a powerful boozy punch.
