First of all, I have to say how much I loved the ambience here. My friend and I spent the entire night chatting away, thanks to how comfortable the place is! We decided to try the Barramundi Fish & Chips and the Pangium Beef Bourguignon.

The fish and chips were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, but the true standout was the beef cheeks. They were tender with a rich, robust flavor, and the mashed potatoes provided a nice contrast in both texture and taste, bringing balance to the dish.

The drinks were just as impressive. Each one looked so Instagram-worthy that it took me a while to decide, but I eventually went with the "Last Man Standing". I loved how the bourbon really shone through, which was refreshing compared to places where the alcohol can taste watered down.

Overall, this is a new spot I've discovered that I’ll definitely be recommending to my friends when we’re looking for a place to unwind after work!

I was craving scones when I stumbled upon Li'l Chef at Parkway Parade and decided to sample a selection of their sweet and savoury scones, along with some brownies. To my surprise, they tasted REALLY good, especially at such an affordable price!

I haven't seen any other place offering such a wide variety of flavours! I personally really enjoyed the cranberry & dark chocolate scones. They also came with clotted cream that wasn’t too sweet, complementing the buttery scones.

The brownie was equally impressive—dense, not overly sweet, and just the right balance. I usually can't finish a brownie in one sitting because it gets too rich, but this one was different. I finished it all! 10/10, I would definitely recommend Li'l Chef to my friends!

I went to this place with my friends for a TGIT (Thursday) night out, and we had a fantastic dinner! The "Moo Ping" Smoked Pork Ribs, which came highly recommended on their website, did not disappoint. The ribs were not only delicious but also fall-off-the-bone tender, making every bite a delight.

We also enjoyed the Grilled Prawn Pomelo Salad, which was appetising. The prawns were huge and juicy, complementing the fresh pomelo. Additionally, the Burnt Butter Cabbage had just the right amount of char, paired beautifully with the rich aroma of the butter.

Not pictured, but worth mentioning, is the Ginger Lemongrass Tea I tried. I'm usually not a big fan of lemongrass, but this drink captured the perfect balance of flavours, making it refreshing without being overpowering. Overall, it was a memorable evening with great food and even better company!

My friend kept raving about Gunther's, so I finally decided to check out their seasonal lunch, and wow, it was such a memorable experience!

The service and ambience were fantastic, but the food truly stole the show. I started with the Gratinated Cevennes onion, and it was a flavour explosion. The buttery aroma, the sweetness of the onion, and the savoury touch of Parmigiano Reggiano all came together beautifully.

Next, I had the Grilled Wagyu beef sirloin (medium rare), and it was spot on. The meat was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Their in-house bordelaise sauce blew me away—such a clear sign of how much they care about every detail.

For dessert, I went with the Bavarois of Earl Grey coated with almond powder, and it was a delight. The Earl Grey flavour was just right—noticeable but not overwhelming. The almond powder added a nice crunch, making each bite a treat. This dessert was simple yet wonderfully complex and satisfying!

I absolutely love it when restaurants put in effort in creating their dishes and Market Bistro is certainly one of them. Besides the great service, the staff was excited to introduce each dish when they arrived, explaining why certain elements were incorporated in the dish , which I was impressed by.

I can't choose a favourite because each dish was unique. The fried baby squid came with an aioli dip, consisted of mayo, olive oil and their inhouse chili crisp. It was so clever of them to add some sweetness in the dip so that it cuts through the ''jelak-ness'' of the dish.

The duck confit was tender and the dish had a good balance of sweet potato mash and greens. The fries on the Steak Frites was freshly friend and incredibly crunchy. The dessert was chef's kiss as well.

This was one of the best omakases I've ever had! The Tamago was incredibly addictive, with a complex flavor profile harmonising umami, sweet, and savory notes. Its unique sponge-cake texture made it an extraordinary dish.

I can't quite remember the name of the sushi with the prawn, but it was SO juicy and fresh. The addition of lime perfectly complemented the prawn, enhancing its flavour.

The wagyu chawanmushi was absolutely divine. The braised beef melted in my mouth, and the egg balanced the strong flavours of the beef, making the dish palatable and not overwhelming.

I loved watching the passionate chefs prepare these masterpieces; what an honour! I can't wait to try the other seasonal specials when I come back in the future.

It was a little hard to find the restaurant but it was worth it! The oysters were fresh, the steak was tender and juicy! The SALMON STEAK was the star of the show! I thought the grilled bananas and pineapples were unique and addictive! The service was good as well. Can't wait to be back again hehe

I thoroughly enjoyed the smoked duck pasta, with the yuzu cream and oranges providing an extra layer of flavour that enhanced the dish's appeal and prevented it from becoming overwhelming. The strawberry and basil dessert was refreshing, the house made maple granola was the icing on top of the cake, complementing the sorbet really well!

The food here was beyond my expectations! I ordered the Supreme Prawn Noodles which had a variety of ingredients (Prawns, Tobiko Prawn Ball, Lala, Shabu Sliced Pork and Braised Pork Ribs) while my friend had the Tobiko Prawn ball & Prawns.

The broth was so rich and flavourful, the prawns were succulent and the braised pork ribs were so meaty and tender.

We also ordered the Ngoh Hiang tasting platter for 1-2 pax which has lots of variety and it was worth the money. I can't wait to bring my family here for a good meal!
