This is one fancy steamboat, almost luxury. Haha. Its expensive, its fresh, good soups, good service. Be more alert if your mandarin is poor, cuz the staffs speaks in a proper mandarin. I sumtimes just look at them blank. 🤣 they have many outlets in SG. Best to make reservation, if possible. #steamboat #hotpot #fancy #singapore

Came here with my colleagues for supper.

Ordered 4 soup base- Tomato, Pork Stomach and Chicken, Sichuan Spicy and their Fish Hot Pot. Tomato soup was not bad, not too sour or sweet. Pork Stomach Soup was a little too peppery. Sichuan Spicy soup was good and numbing. Fish soup was not bad, good flavour.

For the ingredients we ordered Iberico Pork, Signature Beef, Pork Jowl, Sliced Pork Belly, Signature Mashed Shrimpwah, Thin Vermicelli, Fried Tofu Skin, Corn, Salted Egg You Tiao, Haidilao-Styled Noodle, Mini Cheese Sausage, Fried Mantou, Fried Luncheon Meat, Fried Noodle.
The sliced meats was good with the Pork Jowl being quite fatty. Their Signature Shrimp Paste was not bad. It had a good bouncy texture. Salted Egg Yolk You Tiao was ok, wished the you tiao was crispy but it went well with the condensed milk. Haidilao-Styled Noodles had a nice chewy bite to it. Luncheon meat was of a good thickeness. The fried noodles were crispy and paired well with the condensed milk.

There's also free flow sides, condiments and desserts available at the designated area.

Overall not too bad. My favourites being the Sichuan Spicy Hot Pot, Haidilao-Styled Noodles and the free flow Sichuan Oyster Mushrooms.

Hai Di Lao needs no introduction, they offer a wide variety of soups and ingredients of good quality. The service is excellent too, with the staff constantly taking care of our needs. They celebrate birthdays by singing birthday songs with passion and giving you a fruit platters if you don’t pass them a cake as well.

.
For the undecided, this quadruple pot offers a variety of their signature soup bases.
.
The Soup Base Seafood is creamy with a sweet oceany flavour, while the Soup Base Chicken is light with a sweet savoury salty herbal flavour.
.
The Soup Base Tomato has a fragrant fruity vegetal sweet aroma, while the Soup Base Sichuan Mala has a sharp but short savoury peppery spicy burn that entices the palate.

The premier hot pot / steamboat dining destination.

Have fond memories of excellent dining experiences at Hai Di Lao in Beijing, China, so am glad the Singapore branches have maintained the same standard of excellence.
.
Ambience at Hai Di Lao exudes an elegant opulence. The fittings appear luxurious in shades of black, wood, white, red, and gold, the neatly lined comfortable cushioned booths with privacy screens being warmly lit by elegant chandeliers overhead. Intricate oriental artwork adorn the walls.
.
For those visiting on weekends, there are scheduled Chinese operatic performances that occur during peak hours.
