Located along Upper Dickson Road, Gokul served authentic vegetarian Indian cuisine and they offered a wide range of items on the menu.

I really like this masala dosa, which comes with lots of potato in it.

Great for vegetarians, there are both Indian and some Chinese dishes there. Of course, I recommend the Indian ones.
This Malai Kofta can get too rich after some time but I still love it. Recommend to share this dish.
Other favorites include the satay and masala thosai!

First time trying this roti and I love it! Great texture, it has a bit of stretch to it. Can't quite describe the taste but I do like it. Anyway, the taste would be dominated by the accompanying three gravies: "mutton" curry, "chicken" curry, and dhal. Needless to say, the meat in a vegetarian resto is mock. Could've fooled me though!! Didn't miss meat at all tonight as their substitutes are really convincing.

It's a vegetarian Mysore Mutton from Gokul Vegetarian Restaurant. Tastes as good as the real thing, if not better. This is one of the best Indian vegetarian restaurants I've tried so far. Highly recommended!

The food was tasty and inexpensive. The mock butter chicken masala was so 'real', I had to double check it's not real meat. The mutton soup was good too - the soup lacked a bit of punch but the mock mutton looked oh so real, I enjoyed the dish overall! And the assam mock fish here is done better than Whole Earth. The restaurant manager was also very nice - told us we've over ordered and advice us to cancel one dish - which we did and cancelled the mutton masala. But I saw the mutton soup on the menu and just had to try it. We had five dishes in total (chap chye stir fried veg was okay only so didn't take a pic to post and the dark daal wasn't as good as other places but passable), filled our stomachs to the bream and only cost us $33.50 👍👍 Will be back again to try the other items like char kway teow, mee siam, hokkien mee etc etc etc!

Very rich and thick coat of coconut milk right on top. We like that this was not too sweet at all.
