Seems to be popular with the tourists. Thankfully still authentic. Huge menu! Might return to try the other stuff.

Good authentic biryani at reasonable prices. The chicken biryani only costs $10. Appetizer of Paneer Tikka was more expensive at $12. What stands out at this place though, was the excellent service from the male server. Thumbs up!

Small mugs of beer go for $6-9. Had this indian/ceylonese dessert too. $3.80 for one. You get to choose the sauce (or a savoury variant like egg), we had butterscotch and chocolate.

Ordered the thosai set. Was so surprised to see the size of the thosai! It couldnt even fit the plate. Love that it came with a variety dips and sauces. Really authentic place, most of the patrons were Indians, with a few tourists around.

Really enjoyed their Masala Dosa!! Pairs so well with accompanying sauces, especially the green chutney. We liked their Mango Lassi as well!

First time trying this roti and I love it! Great texture, it has a bit of stretch to it. Can't quite describe the taste but I do like it. Anyway, the taste would be dominated by the accompanying three gravies: "mutton" curry, "chicken" curry, and dhal. Needless to say, the meat in a vegetarian resto is mock. Could've fooled me though!! Didn't miss meat at all tonight as their substitutes are really convincing.

So good! Love me a good briyani. I find their chicken quite unique! Heard they call it penyet briyani, altho it's not exactly the same flavour as ayam penyet. But i guess if they do smash the chicken to make it tender then the name is apt! See they even give crispy flour bits too, just like the ayam penyet stalls!:)

[$0.90 for kosong and $1.40 for egg.] We came around 9.15am on a Saturday but the place was already crowded. Took a while for us to get our pratas but it was worth the wait. I don't really find the pratas super crispy actually, but I'm not complaining cos I actually prefer them chewy. The texture/consistency was just right imo! Ohh and Mrs Moghan was so nice too:)
