A friend brought this box to share. There were six square sourdough doughnuts in total, half Burnt Butter Honey Glaze and half Lemon Cremeux, each originally priced at $3.60.
They may look ordinary, but once you bite into them, you will fall in love. The doughnuts are soft, chewy, and elastic, with flavours that speaks volume. The burnt butter one is especially good and definitely recommended.
Burnt Butter Honey Donut
Made with burnt butter, honey, and sea salt. The glaze on top is rich and intense with that deep burnt butter taste. Honey adds sweetness, while sea salt enhances the profile and depth.
Lemon Cremeux Donut
Filled with citrusy, lite lemon cream made from lemon juice, butter, and egg. Finished with a sprinkle of icing sugar. Refreshing, sweet-tangy, and balanced against the soft dough.

Pistachio raspberry crunch and burnt butter honey glaze. Why must square I don't know. Both were very intense - oily, sweet and salty. I'm not inclined to eat again.
Pleasantly surprised with the solid sourdough sandwiches and donuts at Caffe Pralet!
Spam Bam ($12) - Packing a surprising lingering heat, the luscious paprika egg mayo salad multigrain sourdough sandwich seemed unassuming at first but was punchy with the addition of jalapenos, scallions, spam, and baby spinach.
Pleasantly surprised with the solid sourdough sandwiches and donuts at Caffe Pralet!
Beef'in Cheese'in ($14) - Like a yakiniku beef sando, the multigrain sourdough was stuffed nicely with braised tender beef chuck, cheddar, mozzarella, caramelized onions, gherkins (pickled cucumber), and baby spinach. So savoury!
Pleasantly surprised with the solid sourdough sandwiches and donuts at Caffe Pralet!
Cheeky Avocado ($13) - Succulent grilled chicken breast, loaded with nutty cashew chipotle pesto, creamy sliced avocado, fresh tomatoes, onions, gherkins (pickled cucumber), a generous amount of baby spinach, between soft garlic chye poh sourdough. A very balanced meal. Love the slight herbaceous flavour!
For the perfect donut party get the Demi Dozen (starting at $20/ 6pcs)!
Cinnamon Sugar ($3.20) - This classic cinnamon sugar snack was one of my favourites among the selection. More gentle and balanced spice notes.
Burnt Butter Honey Glaze ($3.60) - An indulgent number with rich burnt caramel flavour. Would be even better with more sea salt on the “not-too-thick or cloying, sticky-sweet” glaze.
Lemon Cremeux ($3.60) - Tangy, smooth lemon curd-filled fluffy donut was a win but the amount of creamy filling was a no-go as certain bites had no filling at all.
Pistachio Raspberry Crunch ($4.80) - Studded with nutty pistachio crunch and drizzled with tart raspberry jam, the donut got quite the mixed reception as some enjoyed the bright flavour of the jam while others found it overpowering.
Chocolate Fudge ($4) - A foolproof, crowd-pleasing combo with rich dark 56% chocolate fudge, 70% dark chocolate shavings and toasted cacao nibs.
