Half expected basic substandard pub food but was pleasantly surprised. Fish was light and crisp. The nachos were a generous portion too.
What impressed me the most was the branding. Very consistent and you will know you were in a football themed cafe. Even the toilets had football related items!
We visited Cafe Football Singapore for lunch last weekend, and here’s what we had:
~Training Mussels ($14): Mussels were fresh, and the broth was good! Great for dipping the garlic bread in!
~Char Kway Teow ($16): Honestly wasn’t expecting much, but the CKT here turned out pretty good! Well-fried with a good flavour!
~Salmon Belly Skewer ($14): This was our favourite dish! Each piece of the salmon belly was so nicely grilled and juicy, while the skin remained crisp!
~Carbonara ($17): A tad too creamy for our liking that it got quite jelak after a few mouthfuls. But this might suit those that like their carbonara extra creamy.
Have your favourite drink &
Cheer on your favourite team.

Special shoutout to the tantalising Salmon Belly Skewers - the skin remained crisp despite being left untouched for awhile. The Team Mates Platter will also be an ideal fuel for you and your group of excited football fans.🙌
I'm not kidding when I say you can have your favourite drink as they have an extensive menu of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.🍻🍹
Their Back Pass is a refreshing drink that almost acts like a palate cleanser with its lychee and minty flavour. Goes well with the slightly heavier-flavoured food offerings on the menu.👍
TLDR - Great place to chill at with your football-loving buddies!⚽️
💌Thank you @cafefootballsg for having us!😊

Dropped by the PUB recreational centre to check out the facilities and had lunch at Cafe Football. The food was unexpectedly good. The duck was well flavoured and the nachos were great! The cafe mocha was so-so, a little below average. Food was good though.
Nestled in a quiet part of Singapore within PUB Recreation Club, this football-themed cafe is truly a gem! We ordered the Team Burger, which is a beef burger topped with cheese, turkey bacon, onion jam and sautéed mushrooms. It is served with fries (which can be changed to truffle fries at an additional cost!) I really love this burger because the beef pattie is really juicy! And it comes with bacon was well!! 😍 This is a really good burger!!
Great place to watch live football. Good atmosphere during match nights.
This cafe was apparently opened by Manchester United legend Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs. They are minority shareholders of the cafe.
Food was good, but expensive if u compare with hawker centre.
Nice cozy place
Chicken wings with sambal chilli sauce. I like it.
Crayfish spaghetti in creamy sauce is nice. Crayfish is fresh too.
Carbonara is nice except for the ham which tasted not so good.
Smoked duck was good. Even kids love it.
Churros are crispy outside yet soft inside.
Café Football sounded like a place where soccer fanatics gather, but surely this place is a hidden gem of Woodleigh area, at the PUB Recreation Club, with a wide variety of food and beverages to be enjoyed over soccer telecast.
And so I ordered the Champion Burger (S$18.00) because it felt like only the champions can get their hands on it. But when the burger came, I was so excited to get such a large piece of spam in addition to that thick beef patty. And to make it like an Instagram-worthy burger, try doing something to that runny yolk above the luncheon meat! 🤤
Now, this is one burger that I had to eat with my knife and fork, because somehow it's so challenging to pick up the burger with my hands that I'd probably just eat it in a less embarrassing manner. And that's when I learnt that it's not so easy to finish the burger if one is really not hungry enough.
But I think, given the usual saltiness of luncheon meat, you might want to think about downing more water to flush your palate after the meal.
Here's another fanciful name of the food at Cafe Football Singapore. Think along the line of a chicken burger among the line of beef burgers offered by the restaurant. Moreover, when the meat they use is not a patty but a large piece of chicken cutlet and dressed with mayonnaise, this Underdog (S$15.00) may potentially steal the limelight of many other items they offer here.
The nice thing about this burger, apart from the yummy-not-oily chicken cutlet, is that the burger would already be cut into halves for easy consumption. And honestly, I must admit that the burger is value for money. Diners can also top up an additional S$2.00 to upgrade to Truffle Fries.
And, ok, I promise I will get other mains in my next visit. This place offers more than just burgers and booze.
