BurgerLabo used to be located at Gillman Barrack, before they moved into their former concept, 2280 Burger here at Henderson.

But their affordable 2280 burger remains on the menu. Grass-fed Aberdeen Angus patty, grilled a la plancha. Topped with pickled red onions, American cheese, beef garum & house-made shio kombu burger sauce. Sandwiched in a buttered bun.

Yes, it sounds pretty delicious by looking at what the ingredients in the burger. Recommend to go with double patties. They cooked the patties to medium for food safety standards.

Complete your meal with their fries in either salty or truffle taste.

2280 Double patty beef cheese burger. Neither is it the wagyu nor is it the burger labo version. Pretty decent. Has pickled onions, cheese and beef burger patties for 13.90. Give it a try if you're in the area.

The Basic Burger from BurgerLabo was voted as one of the best burger in Singapore, so we came to try for ourselves.

Got the Basic Burger Single Patty for $19.50 and Wagyu Burger Single Patty for $29.50. True enough, the Basic Burger did not disappoint. In our opinion, it actually tasted better than the Wagyu Burger.

Fries are not part of the burgers and has to be bought separately, so we opted for the Sweet Potato Fries. The cuts are quite thick. Personally I prefer thinner cuts, but taste wise it was ok.

Went back with a slightly reduced appetite as compared to my other visits and just opted for a single patty burger and shoestring fries

Sadly, the hype I had for all my previous visits (always double patty) was not met by the single 🥲 though the sauce is a good saving grace, the overall burger is a bit flat (literally and not). I find the shoestring fries more enjoyable too as compared to the sweet potato one (personal bias on potato fries lol)

Not sure if this was a one-off thing for their single burgers, but I will only return for doubles (no fail so far) 😂

Sorry for the lighting. The higher the price, the darker the place. Remember, I disliked 2280. So the stakes were high for both sides. Eventually, using Japanese A4 wagyu for the patty made a difference. I really experienced a different beef quality. But hey it's three times the price of 2280. Furthermore, mine had sinews in every bite and I hated that. Stacked with red onion pickled in IPA, wagyu fats, cheese, shio kombu mayo, mustard, calamansi kosho, gherkin, cucumber, tomato. Note that all burgers here are cooked to medium/medium well. I chose sweet potato fries over truffle fries. Although they're crispy outside despite the thickness, they're boring and I regretted a little.

$7 for a small glass but one of the best I've tasted. Unlike most milkshakes, this had many layers of flavour. It included a yogurt-like touch that gave it a kick. It also used real strawberries and thumbs up for that.
