Love China skewered meats so we came here with my friend for an early dinner. Ordering is placed via scanning a QR code on a piece of paper which directs you to their ordering website.
We ordered most of their meat and honestly have no idea which meat was which but they were not bad. The meat are all cooked before being placed on a grill in front of us. There's also an option of spicy or not spicy. The difference is the addition of chili powder to the spicy option which IMO is not really spicy.
Ordered the grilled leek which was really good and flavourful.
Pig ears with cucumber were good as well. Crunchy, chilled and flavourful.
Tinfoil clam. Clam soup with Enoki mushroom. Soup was not bad but tasted like chicken seasoning. Do order the not spicy version if you can't take spicy.
Overall would recommend the grilled leek!

The place I was introduced to Chinese BBQ. I love Chinese BBQ but have moved on to better/cheaper joints.
Finally get to try this BBQ box.
Ok good experience. Typical China style BBQ with herbs. I always thought it's Japanese. On the salty side. Food is cooked then they serve on the box to warm up.
Some items are really interesting. But small pieces of meat on sticks. So you'll tend to order more. Remember to state spicy or not.
Average per stick is $1.3
Oysters $18.8 for 3 (not very big, 1 was really small)
Sour plum drink a jar is $8.80
Mini pork Dumplings not bad (oops, no pic)
29 sticks + 2 sticks of 3 mid joint wings @$3.5/- + all above
Total: $85.95
Note: Menu is in China Chinese.
Never thought I'll take a liking to "China food" because everyone says that they're oily and salty etc but omg THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!! The price is really cheap too most of the skewers are only $1/stick and the more "premium" items like chicken wings costing $3 or $5 /stick.
The skewers are served BBQ'd already and they place it on this heated box in front of you to keep it hot. The most addictive part about their skewer is the sauce. It's oily and salty and slightly spicy but in a really delicious way.
Highly recommend their mutton BBQ ($1), grilled pork sausage ($1), grilled pork 三层肉 ($1) and the shiitake mushrooms ($1.20). As a beef lover, I think the grilled beef pales in comparison to their mutton but still worth a try. Will definitely try out other meats the next time.
No alcohol served here, so its technically not a bar but the food is awesome and fun! Definitely come here w friends for a filling, flavourful and interesting (variety of the different skewers, mostly meats) dinner or supper (opens till 2am)!
