Ordered this through GrabFood. The chicken meat was tender and I didn’t have much difficulty slicing through it despite using those plastic fork and knife. But as expected, the fries were soggy already 😐. Overall, it was still pretty decent for something that was delivered in 30mins 👍.
$6.50 chicken chop, a must try for Bobby's delicacy. Chicken chop was well cooked and flavour on point. Would prefer the corn to be on the cob though. But thats personal preference.
$6.50 for the portion. Not bad for a coffeeshop standard. The onion rings were not done up well though. It was quite dry and tough. The coleslaw was good. Do try if you are around the area!
($6.50) choose your sides - I ordered sweet corn and sauteed potatoes. This piece was well fried, crispy on the outside while the fish remains tender and juicy on the inside!
If you are looking for some affordable western food in kopitiam atmosphere, this is probably the you could go. It is just a ten minutes walk from Woodlands MRT Station.
Just like my grilled dory fish, which comes with 2 side dishes for only $6.50! You also can opt for rice or pasta. Student meal available!
Hadn't been visiting Bobby's Delicacy for a while despite it being in Woodlands — remembered how good their Grilled Dory Fish was and decided to go for it again, and it didn't disappoint.
The Fish was grilled to perfection with a nice, crisp crust that formed on its exterior while soaking in that buttery, garlicky goodness that is spiced up with paprika powder. Each main comes with a choice of two sides — opted for the coleslaw that was cold and gave a creamy, refreshing crunch while the onion rings are that sort of thickly battered ones that they used to serve up back then; not a bad thing especially if one is used to it. Still quite good for a coffeeshop western stall!
(PS: quite surprised to have found an Anson Town branch at the same coffeeshop here; definitely going to check that out some time soon!)
