One of the famous roasted meat stall in this neighbourhood. The only thing I’m not satisfied is the meat was too little for me, mostly I got the bones. Would come back again to try other roasted meat. $5
Roti prata always the best thing to have in the early morning. The roti prata here was prepared by Indians and they are consider close to the Malaysian style which is more fluffy and great texture.
Probably just a food court in a very small neighbourhood but it have some of the best food like this one. Famous for their western food and fried chicken, but I decided to try their fish & chop first which never disappoint me. Crispy skin on the outside but soft fish meat inside. $6
Probably the only air-conditioned cafe here in Marsiling hidden at the entrance of Woodlands Swimming Pool Complex, offer plenty of items on their menu. Salted Egg Seafood Pasta are one of their popular item, for those craving for salted egg. $13.90++
Of course you probably don’t feel like walking far. There’s another western food stall just a few blocks away from my home. They have a pretty good selections of western food, burger and slides. Definitely there is one that suit your taste.
The stall is halal certified so everyone can enjoy it. $7.20
This famous roasted meat stall was actually previously from Shunfu Mart.
They have since moved to Marsiling Mall to serve the North people. Facing the entrance of the hawker centre, you couldn’t miss them as they took two lots of the hawker centre.
If this is your first time here, you must try their wanton noodle first.
Also previously from the former Woodlands Centre Hawker Centre, they made their own noodles. Not matter whether you want mee pok or mee kia, they offer a few choices of noodle type that you can choose from.
They served pretty good ban mian with egg and crispy Ikan Bills.
You could find chicken rice selling everywhere in Singapore just like this stall in S11.
What makes this stall special was the visits by ministers Lawrence Wong, Dr Ng Eng Hen and Halimah Yacob!
This is also the outlet of the famous Yishun 925 chicken rice. So you can expect the quality here and probably the queue also during peak hours.
If you are looking for some affordable western food in kopitiam atmosphere, this is probably the you could go. It is just a ten minutes walk from Woodlands MRT Station.
Just like my grilled dory fish, which comes with 2 side dishes for only $6.50! You also can opt for rice or pasta. Student meal available!
You would be surprised to see a young man preparing your laksa in this stall.
Located at the back of Marsiling Mall Hawker Centre, previously from the former Woodlands Centre.
Their laksa gravy was fragrance and probably the best you can get in this neighbourhood.
