Almost too pretty to eat but caved in and savoured every mouthful of this very decent cheesecake. Big street serves Malaysian cuisine with a twist and given the pricing and good service it’s certainly worth a visit.
Came here because I’ve seen so much of this salted egg lava prata ($6) and it was indeed a cool gimmick however found the place to be generally too overpriced. Spent $79 for 3 people when we could have had the same meal for a third of the price at a regular prata shop. Surprisingly the standout dish for me was not the pratas but the hokkien mee. Don’t think I’ll ever be back
Have always wanted to try this place! The buffet was a small spread of nasi lemak, prata coins and laksa, which isnt much but for 12 nett and a cozy environment it was well worth it. Plus everything was yummy, would return to try their main menu!
Really interesting to see how they play with Roti Prata, just like this one. Look ordinary when it served to your table; but once you cut the prata, the salted egg sauce start bursting out and flood around it. $6
Wanted to have a chill happy hour last Friday, thought of Big Street Cafe to be not so sleazy and noisy and also a nice place to chill.
Prata is priced at $6-$8 (can't remember the exact)
The mojito and margarita at the back is $12 each.
All prices are nett, definitely value for money.
A Liu Sha prata Bomb that even my brother approves!
This works better than croissant 🙄
We like the plate too!
