Value For Money
🍆 everyone hates this but trust me
$10.90
This stall is located under the HDB with other local fare so it’s easy to miss it. $10.90 for a plate of fish and chips is slightly pricey for the average joe like me.
I like the fries because it feels unprocessed and the seasoning is good.
Fish isn’t as crispy because they added the chilli crab sauce on top.
The sauce is GOOOODD..
$20++
This pasta is super delicious! 😋
We came in a large group of 14 but with preorders, they took a long time to serve the food.
Otherwise, this place serves good halal food
Plain prata: $1, egg prata: $1.50
I was told this place serves the best prata in Singapore and decided to give it a try.
The plain prata is legitimately good, one of the best pratas I’d had in awhile. The roti is crispy but still gives you that satisfying chew.
Egg prata tastes average, curry is average too.
They close shop at 1pm, best to come in the morning
$4.60
I added the shark nuggets and egg. The usual lor mee soup is reduced to just gravy and the overall taste is good! I’m not sure if it’s worth the queue though
RM25.90. All service crew speaks English, and this cafe is very well-known among Singaporeans.
Interestingly, they layer the hollandaise sauce on the plate instead of on top of the burger. Some places like to drown the eggs inside the sauce, so it’s a good balance in a way.
This is what you need when you are craving for eggs Benedict.
$6. Chanced upon this delicious bowl of fish soup while in search for another food. I’m glad to discover this one. They specialise in adding deep-fried egg into the soup which makes the taste a lot better than the average fish soup. Expect 15-min queue or so.
$7.90 I have always loved chicken pho. It’s my comfort food. Awesome for the rainy day. But this is my first time eating a dry one. It’s abit like Ipoh’s Chicken Hor Fun. Definitely worth a try
$5.50 the tomato noodles and sauce felt like a fusion of western and chinese food. Very delicious lunch, but beware of long queue
$45 for two pax, and IM VERY HAPPY AND FULL.
They are doing a promotion which is a mookata set for 2-3pax at $28++. I added a bowl of garlic chicken ($2.50) and a plate of veg ($1.50). My sister and I almost couldn’t finish the stuff.
Definitely worth going back again!
P/s. I suggest you just order mookata from the ala carte menu, it’s much cheaper.
RM42 for two pax. (Medium size)
Slightly too big for two, remember to order the small size one.
Also, ask for the fish tail 鱼尾,so you get more meat
$24.50 for two.
Rather affordable for two pax as I ordered quite a lot. I rather order from this stall than the one inside Bugis Junction
