Meh...not impressed with the fish and the âhand-rolledâ linguine.
While frozen may be the new fresh, I maintain fresh is always better when it comes to seafood. What I am taking away from dining at this restaurant is that restaurants classification should include the following categories: "fresh seafood" and "frozen seafood".
Donât come here. Food is barely even mediocre, (tho the snapper was edible) for the price they make you pay. The only thing this restaurant nailed was the ambience. Perfect ambience, haha.
Kicked off our Sunday Brunch at Bayswater Kitchen with a big pot of clanking clams and mussels.
The classic Marinière sauce of white wine, onions and herbs was perfect for the little plump-of-flesh fellas in their shells. They didnât need much help as their natural juices were already a delight of the briny and sweet. The complimentary warm sourdough was delicious dunked in the sauce too.
