Growing up my dad loved bring the family to upscale restaurants for special occasions, now an adult it is natural we do the same on Fatherâs Day. The selected place for the night got everyoneâs approval which made me satisfied.
To share we had the wagyu cote de boeuf and this was a meat feast fit for a king or was it Dad? Medium cut with enough tendon, fat and red protein. The French bean side was slightly too tough with an old skin, but thankfully we ordered the beetroot tartare which was a nice interlude to the 1.1kg star of the night.
For my main I had the quinoa falafel which was a great take on the usual fried chickpea & beans âmeatballsâ. I also adored the bed of hummus together with cabbage and pomegranate.

Located at the heart of the CBD on level 40 of Capitagreen Building, you can get a panoramic view of the Singapore skyline while enjoying the wonderful Mediterranean inspired food.
One of the standouts was the perfectly roasted salmon atop a bed of couscous, eggplant and tomato relish ($36). The salmon was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy skin. I also liked the combination of flavours of the turmeric, saffron and tomato that go really well with the couscous.
Bf and I ordered 1x 2 course and 1x 3 course set lunch. For starters, we ordered falafel and the duck soup. The former is a MUST - itâs crunch, healthy and filled w veggies! Duck soup was meh - Chinese restaurants can do it better. For mains, we ordered the chicken and salmon. The latter is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Salmon just melts in your mouth and is so fatty and juice, with the rice that taste like briyani??? The chicken came with a nice dipping sauce on the side but the veggies was too salty - not recommended at all. Finally we had the chocolate mango cake for dessert. One of the best cakes Iâve ever eaten in my life - nicely presented too đĽ°
The views were amazing, if possible when you are making a reservation, request for the window seat facing MBS :) Although the food came on a big plate typical of fine dining restaurants, we were left feeling really full and couldnât finish all of it. The service is good as they gave a free birthday cake as a surprise celebration.đ
