Curry broth was rich, savory, and delicious. Big pieces of chicken which had bones in but the meat was tender. I slurped this up in no time.
Ordered their Chicken Rice Set (SGD4) as shown above.
Absolutely no complaints but TBH it didn’t exactly stand out for me too… Definitely above average but don’t travel all the way down for this😄
This was the stall with ‘that one longest queue’ in the whole coffeeshop (around 15 people before me) 😂 Would have to say they were fast and efficient though.
Ordered a Chicken for 3 pax (mixed roasted with steamed) and 2 shares of rice. The chicken rice was very fragrant. Steamed chicken was soft and tender while the roasted chicken seems a bit dry even though I tried soaking it up with the sauce. Taste-wise was just nice, not too salty. It’s a good chicken rice place but with that queue, I kind of had higher expectations.
My last dine in yesterday before the new measures started today.
A popular chicken rice stall at Yew Tee. The set comes with generous amount of vegetables together with the chicken, soup and rice. $4
Not bad, chicken was tender and rice was nice too, not oily at all!
The rice is fragrant although maybe given the late timing that we went (7pm), it was a bit dry & hard and we found ourselves pouring soup/ sauce to soften it. With the chicken came a generous serving of vegetables & a side of achar, making it a more balanced meal. The big bowl of preserved vegetable soup was also yummy and a great addition to the meal.
