This artery-clogging, tummy fat-inducing, cornflake crusted sandwich should be crowned the King of all PB & Js as I just love the fun yet complex textures. Hearty but definitely not healthy, the nothing-can-go-wrong combination of creamy peanut butter and sweet jam cuddled between slices of fried chocolate bread can unfortunately get a little cloy so sharing is caring!

Pictured here is the ridiculously good Deep Fried Brie ($15 NETT)! Sitting on top their black charcoal bun, encased in a crisp breadcrumb shell is molten melted whole slab of brie cheese! The whole thing is about the size of a palm, so good that you got easily eat one whole thing yourself without feeling jelat! (I guess the mixed berry sauce plays a good part too!) A huge thank you to Shaun for another good meal!! 🙌🏻 Wishing more good years ahead, and more awesome food creations!

I'm so glad I'm no longer the sole instigator when it comes to Janice Wong mochis! Finally it was @veronicaphua who reminded me we should grab some of these cream filled clouds after our tasting yesterday… so sixth stop—I inhaled 3 of these plump beauties by myself as everyone gave their shocked expressions and reminders of the dangers of whipped cream. 😅 I'm beyond salvageable when it comes to these desserts. Mango is still my favourite flavour, followed by Popcorn.
Plus I think I'll have to make a visit again soon as I saw they now serve ICE CREAM!!! 😋

Salmon, tuna, mesclun, avocado, cucumber, orange, red wine apple 🍎, chives, yuzu zest 🍋 and yuzu sauce. I ordered mine without tuna and kinda liked the sauce. Great idea for a healthier option. 👍🏼

Say hello to flawlessness. Both in appearance and also, taste. I'm not kidding when I say this made me gasp at first sight. The neat and vividly coloured arrangement of sliced avocado, tomato halves and baby spinach around the golden, cheese-topped eggs on flatbread was a work of edible art. Proving to have as much substance as style, every bite delivered absolute deliciousness. Such is the magic of beautifully-cooked runny-yolked eggs with very fresh and well-prepared accompaniments. And let's not forget, there's also the option of adding on bacon or smoked salmon as well. I think no further explanation is needed as to why this is a must-have.

Available in 4 different styles, diners can select either the Lobster Broth Ramen with Clear Soup ($13.90), Lobster Broth Ramen with Rich Creamy Soup ($14.90), Miso Lobster Broth Ramen ($14.90, pictured here) or Spicy Miso Lobster Broth Ramen ($15.90). By going for the full works, you will not only get the quintessential pork belly, there’s also chicken char siew, black pepper prawn wontons, lobster balls, bamboo shoots and an onsen egg.

For this miso option, the broth is boiled with three different types of miso to give it a rich and flavourful stock. Unfortunately, it was too thick for my liking but fans of ramen with thick broth will definitely love the new creation by this famous ramen chain.

Not the usual sides available but truffle tarter tots? Golden interstellar crispy tots lightly perfumed with truffle scent and bring about subtle traces of uneven truffle around the tarter tots. With a cup of sweet and milky hazelnut steamer that perfectly intertwined around the savory flavors.

The Red Velvet Ice Cream Burger ($6.90) - 2 red velvet buns holding a large scoop of Ferrero Rocher Ice Cream. That iconic Chocolate made ice cream really took centre stage over here - creamy yet not overly sweet paired with some coconut Nutella sauce (but there wasn't much coconut taste to it). The buns could be slightly more toasted to further enhance the flavour of the buns :)

The Deli packs all sandwiches to-go.

Food:
1) PB&J Sandwich [$8.00]
"I was sent to Cloud 9 immediately." (Tay, 2015)
Oozing in peanut butter, lathered with chocolate & jelly, and crusted with heaps of cornflakes, my only gripe is my personal peanut dislike. Sub it out with hazelnut, pistachio or macadamia, and I'd probably love it as well.

2) Cheese Steak [$16.00]
At first, we were hesitant to drop $16 on a sandwich. But it's TOTALLY worth it.
PBD describes it as "sliced beef many many", and it's not a superlative. The sub looks almost made by a child; overstuffed with as many well-marinated, tender beef slices as the bread can carry, broiled in molten cheese, and doing away with any green formalities. Caramelized onions will be the only accepted vegetable here.

There was so much beef, lumps kept falling out of my sandwich and the thing still looked full. That's how much meat you're getting; when you lose meat to the floor and you ain't even mad.
I even remember just sitting in silence, working through a substantial half of the sandwich and going, "This is great."

The place literally overlooks Amoy Street Food Centre, but if you're feeling rich & in the mood for a quick Western bite, definitely check out Park Bench Deli.

Come Here: Again.

Yet another place for churros - I think this might be better than Churros 101 although I did enjoy the latter too. ($6.50) Crispy outside, fluffy inside dusted with cinnamon sugar - contrasted with smooth vanilla ice cream topped with some drizzled chocolate, nuts and cornflakes at the bottom. (would have opted for banana milk but SOMEONE hates banana. How could anyone dislike banana?!) also, loved that the churros didn't feel oily.

The Mac and cheese 'bun' was deep fried with a great crispy crackling sound with each bite. The Mac and cheese was moist with a slightly muted cheese flavor.
The patty done pink and tender, was slathered in bacon jam and BBQ sauce. Worked really well with the bun. Although the meat needs a little more seasoning.
It's a novel idea, though it still needs a little tuning to get right.
Monster was starving yesterday now he's full.

😔😔😔 How I wish for a bowl of noodle soup from TWINS to keep me warm in this chilly night.

This spicy seafood noodle soup typically features chewy noodles with generous portion of seafood such as prawns, clams, calamari and chopped pieces of crab legs, along with heaps of mixed vegetables to compliment the spiciness of the base soup. The combination of all the natural ingredients creates a hearty bowl of soup that is packed with robust flavors. Simple, flavorful and satisfying, with a spicy kick!
