Spicy cheese dukbokki ($12.90) - extra chewy rice cakes, fish cakes and cabbage doused in a fiery yet sweet gochujang sauce and topped with melted cheese!!!! Personally felt that the sauce could've been thicker + more cheese needed but that's just me being greedy.....😋
😔😔😔 How I wish for a bowl of noodle soup from TWINS to keep me warm in this chilly night.
This spicy seafood noodle soup typically features chewy noodles with generous portion of seafood such as prawns, clams, calamari and chopped pieces of crab legs, along with heaps of mixed vegetables to compliment the spiciness of the base soup. The combination of all the natural ingredients creates a hearty bowl of soup that is packed with robust flavors. Simple, flavorful and satisfying, with a spicy kick!
Try Its Spicy Chicken With Tokkbokki, Kimchi Fried Rice, And Of Course The Soy & Garlic Chicken Wings.
We recently went back for the Spicy Dakgangjung ($22 for medium, $30 for large), and this is a MUST-HAVE. Boneless fried chicken and fried tokkbokki (rice cake) enveloped in this sweet, savoury, spicy chilli sauce.
The chicken pieces were so tender and juicy, and the sauce finger-licking addictive. Spiciness-level wise, I thought it was manageable, while another friend quickly ordered more water for help.

4.5 munchies: With the surge of new Korean restaurants serving fried chicken lately, it's no doubt getting harder to identify which are the ones worth piling the calories for. One look at the glaze of the yang nyum sauce here at Twins tells it all – fiery (thankfully, with a good balance of sweetness), tangy, and had the right consistency. While the chicken could have a stronger marinade, the crispiness and tenderness of the meat have won me over.
I think I've just found one of my top choices for KFC at this 1-month-old Korean-owned fried chicken and ice cream beer restaurant.
Knew I could always rely on Burpple's recommendation for good food! Came to Wang Dae Bak after seeing Burrple's ROTD and it proved to be so so awesome. Here we have the Toppiki Stew with cheese topping, which was so rich, saucy and sweet, maybe even a little too sweet for my liking. The Toppoki was soft and slightly chewy- almost the perfect texture for the otherwise difficult to digest rice cake. I also loved the generous serving, which could easily have fed a party of 4.
Just treated myself with a bowl od the best 짜장면 (Jjajangmyon) in singapore! [Said @chinchaijiak . THANKS!!]

Since i haven't really try that many Jjajjangmyon, i don't think i should say anything about "the best Jjajangmyon".
But it waz reaalllyy gooooddd... 😍😍
The noodle was chewy, and the seasoning was just right...you can eat it by itself, but with it's 'partner' [Pickled radish, onion, onion sauce] they become even better. All those will help you get rid of the greasiness and kinda balance everything. 😋😋😋
Ps : it goes very well with the kimchi too!!

So migh saw it quite many times if you've been watching korean variety shows / drama. And if you want to have a taste,
You know where to go! 😁👌
Have been dying to try this every single time they aired it on running man
I just want my Korean army stew, because it's Seoul yummy.
Finally trying another variant of their Bingsu. Served with the same smooth and fine snowflake ice that is milky in flavour, the milkiness seemed to have been overwhelmed by chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, brownies, bananas and Oreo bits speckled atop the ice. Despite so, it is not overwhelmingly sweet, and we requested for a jug of evaporated milk to sweeten the ice a little so as bring out the flavours of the snowflake ice more (the staff said this bingsu does not come with evaporated milk because it is "sweet enough"). Not too shabby, but I would prefer their Matcha one any day.

Yet another place to solve the Bingsu cravings in this hot weather. Milk shaved ice was actually pretty smooth and fine, covered with Green Tea powder at the sides which gave it a tasteful bitter flavour. Topped off with sweet Azuki beans, Green Tea ice-cream, it added different dimensions of sweetness to the shaved ice, and the chopped nuts does give it a nice crunchiness. One of the better Bingsu I have had of the late.
Food on plate:
kimchi soup set $7 - yummyy & it comes in a big portion that can be shared among two girls! Comfort food for the rainy season recently
Dumpling soup non spicy $6 - taste is just right, the dumpling is so juicy & we will definitely come back for more!
Potato pancake $4 - its ok but it seems abit burnt.
