While both the ice cream flavours & taste remind me of the ones we can easily get from our local mobile ice cream vendors or those giant Mangnolia/King's tubs from supermarkets, I give my stars to their perfect outer layer crust with fragrant buttery aroma. After all this was just a few dollars mark up from our childhood guilty pleasure. & Best of all? Taking a shot against their LED display here can help me fool my gullible friends that I'm in Japan.
Thai Milk Tea & Coconut Soft Serve ($3.90/Reg)
Brought the girls out to enjoy some smooth & creamy cold treat to beat the scorching summer heat! These babies do melt really quickly though, prepare to chop chop with your camera & enjoy them asap! The regular size allows you to get a crunchy & chewy topping of your choice. As for recommendations, most of my friends prefer their Thai milk tea flavour, but I'm gonna be honest about being bias because I personally love coconut everything 💕

Love the Charcoal Yoghurt Softserve base with right amount of sweet and tartness (from $2.90 onwards, depending on the amount of toppings and sauce).I had their Signature Pistachio ($6.90) which includes their lovely Pistachio sauce (thick and nutty) but sadly isn't too aesthetically good on camera.
Ordered the kooks signature ($8.50) which includes a chocolate molten cookie and a single scoop ice cream. The yummy cookie is rich in buttery taste and incredibly tasty when served warm. Chose the pistachio icecream which tasted pretty average. Will definitely come back again for more cookies~~~ xoxo, wet tissue no have
The Tonkatsu cutlet is made using a stack (14 to be exact) of thinly sliced pork. Coated with batter and panko, it is then deep-fried into a crispy steak that remains juicy on the inside.
This is definitely worth each and every calorie this dish has.
Dessert was good and so was the cake. It's yuzu, my fav anyway. This is all for the 15th anniversary of the Sanrio character - Cinnamoroll. Come try it before the pop up cafe ends its run. #burpple #tingzieeats
With pocket-friendly lunch prices and beautiful plated presentation, it's no wonder why Tanuki Raw is still going strong on Instagram. Covered in succulent pan-fried short ribs and a wobbly onsen egg, their Truffle Yakiniku ($14.90++) is a sure crowd-pleaser. The Garlic Butter Chicken ($12.90++) is also a safe bet for people who prefer traditional Japanese flavours.
Spicy cheese dukbokki ($12.90) - extra chewy rice cakes, fish cakes and cabbage doused in a fiery yet sweet gochujang sauce and topped with melted cheese!!!! Personally felt that the sauce could've been thicker + more cheese needed but that's just me being greedy.....😋
Go fancy with either the Thai Milk Tea Waffles or Kinder Bueno Waffles or keep it simple with the Classic Waffles and choose from Earl Grey, Honeycomb Toffee, Triple Choc & Vanilla Bean ice-cream 🍦the best way to spend TGIF! 🙌
So the geniuses at @hvalawafflebar have turned my favourite chocolate bar into the inspiration for their new limited edition soft serve – AND I LOVE IT.
The ice cream is tinged with chocolate malt powder to give it colour and a richer taste, but it's its marriage with generous layers of salted caramel, chopped nuts and chocolate sauce that make it taste uncannily like a frozen Snickers bar, only creamier. It's so good on its own, and ten times better with Hvala's signature puffy waffle – dripping with even more sauces and nuts – in attendance.
This beats any new-fangled eggette in Hong Kong, for sure.
Panko-crusted shell holding generous fillings of corned beef and a surprise center of a molten lava egg. Accompanied with tomato relish and guacamole, made the scotch egg extra flavourful when you mix it in to eat. The portion was just right for one person (you may beg to differ since its Raine we are talking here 😂). Best paired with one of their flat white, coffee is always good here 😌 One of the 'you should order' listed in @burpple newest update! Always check the app in deciding what to order!
