The place gets incredibly busy during lunch hours, with wait times ranging from 20 to 30 minutes—sometimes even longer.

That said, it’s worth the wait. The dry noodles are the standout dish and a must-try. They’re topped with a generous amount of pork lard and shallots, adding a rich, savory depth to every bite.

And let’s not forget the chilli—it was absolutely fantastic, packing a flavorful punch that elevated the entire dish. Highly recommended!

The Wanton Mee (WTM) at Lu Ge was surprisingly good!

The sauce was rich, flavorful, and had a nice spicy kick, while the wantons were delicious and well-prepared.

What stood out even more was the scene at dinner time: Chong Boon Market was mostly quiet, with only a few stalls open. Despite the quiet atmosphere, Lu Ge had a steady queue, which speaks volumes about its popularity and quality.

When the weather get cosy, you know you need something warm for meal.

Yu Fa Claypot Delights at the food centre is famous for their claypot dishes. There’s so many options that you can choose from and curry chicken is one of them.

Served on a hot claypot, you get a delicious curry with a few pieces of chicken and potato.

Walking around the food centre and you should probably found this long queue at the very end, facing inside for this corner stall.

Yong Xin has been patronised by many regulars for their noodles. The famous noodle comes with everything you need, which included the fishballs, meatballs, pork slices, fish cake slices, minced meat, pork lard and fried shallots.

The combination of everything together with the taste of chili and vinegar really goes very well here.

Recommend to get the dry version to complete your meal with a bowl of soup.

Cai Ji Fried Fish Soup is another fish soup stall at this food centre, facing the main road at the front.

They sell not only fish soup but also some noodles items on the menu.

Went for their mixed fish soup with the normal fish and fried fish. The fried fish pieces already soaked in the soup, so do eat it fast if you want the texture.

The only Thai stall. It's pirated. The meals I have here are pseudo-Thai. It's just a confused plate of fried rice, with an unknown clear soup.
