Always wanted to try this and now I know how tasty this is! Fresh indeed!
($13.80) It consisted of rice (cannot be changed to noodle :"), two side dish (black fungus and tofu skin) I felt that their soup base was not that thick but got strong sour taste tbh. It was being recommended by my sister so I decided to try since I passby wistra atria area. Their fish was quite fresh and no bad smell :). They got own dedicated sitting area if you all order their food from counter. You can able to see the scenery of orchard road especially christmas season while eating at there.
Hot and sour fish with pickled mustard greens. The pickled mustard brings bold, punchy flavours cooked with pumpkin paste, ginger, yellow pepper, star anise, shallots, dried peppercorn and bay leaf. The fermented pickled mustard gives out some appetising acidity and zesty taste.
I like this mix of sour and savoury flavours with hints of spiciness. The recommended sides to go with this soup were beansprouts and tapioca noodles. Each portion of soup also comes with the standard seabass, two sides of choice and a bowl of rice. They ran out of seabass even as early as 6PM in the evening hence top-up for groupers 》$12.80
鱼众不同 serves up local produce in a fuss-free food court setting located conveniently at Food Republic Wisma Atria. Their fishes are harvested from a local farm directly to ensure freshness.
The fish soup comes in four signature flavours - Spicy Poached (水煮鱼), Sauerkraut (酸菜鱼), Tomato and Collagen fish soup priced at $9.80 per order. Each portion of soup also comes with two sides of choice and a bowl of rice.
The spicy poached fish soup is made from dried chilli padi, spicy chilli sauce, spicy bean sauce and dried chilli padi flakes join forces with special spice-infused chilli oil for that extra kick. Its classic mala flavours will meet the palates of those who love spicy food.
They ran out of the usual seabass so we had top-up for groupers. Their recommend sides for this soup are enoki mushroom and tapioca noodles. They have a good variety of sides such as big beansprouts, black fungus, Chinese lettuce, enoki, romaine lettuce, pine mushroom, tofu, tofu skin, broad topicals noodles and glass noodles. The fish slices were fresh and succulent which I pair with enoki and tofu skin which turns out pretty good 》$12.80 (Grouper)
Located at Wisma Atria Food Republic. Comes with 2 choices of sides and rice. Super good for cold weather!
From there, they are able to serve their signature fish soups in a relaxed food court setting at wallet-friendly prices, the first of its kind in Singapore to offer this farm-to-masses concept. Priced from $9.80, their piping hot boiled fish soups come in four signature flavours that you can choose from such as the Spicy Poached Fish Soup, my favourite of the four and the broth is the classic fiery mala flavour that contains dried chilli padi, spicy bean sauce and a special spice-infused chilli oil. If you prefer something more appetizing, the Sauerkraut Fish Soup will be your choice as it contains pickled mustard in the broth that brings the bold, punchy and tangy flavour. For the non-spicy options, diners can choose between the Tomato Fish Soup or Collagen Fish Soup, the former is made from fresh tomatoes while the latter is a broth that is boiled from fresh fish bones, fish scales and fish maw. Each of these fish soups come with a standard set of toppings such as enoki mushroom, romaine lettuce and you can top-up for more add-ons such as tofu skin, tapioca noodles and more.
Besides the fish soups, you can order a variety of sides such as the Fresh Green Mussels with Spicy Sauce ($7.80), Fried Fresh Fish Bites with Mustard Dips ($7.80) or the Zesty Winter Melon ($3.80) which helps you cut through the richness.
