By no means cheap For a chicken rice but you wonโ€™t be disappointed for sure.

Silky moist chicken and well cooked rice with a good flavour .

The homemade chilli is one of the best I have had with a spicy kick .

Go for their set meals which includes a dumpling soup with a nice broth .

Quiet , clean eatery to catch up with loved ones and friends .

Do get a plate of their mee goreng too - you wonโ€™t regret it . ( see my earlier post for the mee goreng review )

While Jew kit is known for its piquant chicken rice , donโ€™t forget to order a portion of this lovely mee goreng.

One of the best versions I have had - good spicy kick , moist without being greasy and a fair amount of wok hei . Really not easy to achieve this - I have had too many bad mee Gorengs .

The whole dish came together very well .
I recommend to switch out the prawns to chicken because the prawns are not the โ€œ crystal kind โ€œ of prawns which are tasteless and meaningless to me .

This place is seriously a gem! Not only is the food good, the service is great and fast and the interior retro!!! Never disappoints every time. Pictured here are half white chicken, za cai (mixed veg), beef hor fun and chicken feet skin in thai sauce.

Chicken was ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ skin was perfect and jellyish. Za cai was slightly salty. Beef in the hor fun was good, like it was tenderly tough ๐Ÿค” And the cold chicken feet skin โ€” highly recommended!!!!!

Add-on chicken rice was $1 /plate and quite a generous serving. Our group of four had a bowl of soup each although we only ordered two plates of rice. (soup is very good!!!)

There are a few vouchers on fave, but they can only be used at the outlet in far east plaza.

Ordered the $8 set that came with a plate of their signature white steamed chicken, a plate of kailan and a bowl of soup. The plate had some white meat and dark meat and all the parts were tender and savoury. I thought the rice wasnโ€™t that great which was a pity but mixing in the chili, garlic and sweet sauce definitely helped.

They have many other local zichar dishes for those looking for variety and not just chicken rice!!

A place to get chicken rice at night before 12am. $6

Look at that chick. Doesn't it look plump and juicy? Well that's because it is.

Jew Kit's thick slices of steamed chicken was wonderfully and evenly cooked. The dressing with the chicken stock helps to amplify the chicken's taste for maximum flavour.

The prices for individual sets range from $4.20-6.70 while I had the whole chicken which goes for $28! (Quarter and Half go for $12 and $15 respectively.) The chili and ginger sauces smelled and tasted great. However, the dark soya sauce they provide is way too sweet. I love to douse my rice with soya sauce but the sweetness proved it impossible.

Jew Kit also has an extensive zi char menu which I have yet to try but it looks promising. It opens from 10:30am - 12mn, ideal for supper!
