Simple wholesome foods. Love the spicy habanero sauce that brings the generally light-flavored sides up a notch.

When my friend raved to me about this joint, I was skeptical. How authentic can fast food from the basement of a heartland mall be? The answer: QUITE authentic - the first sight that greets you is a giant kebab skewer! I decided on the chicken since the beef chili con carne didnโ€™t look as tantalizing.

While the various constituents (I.e.: veggies, tortilla wrap) arenโ€™t the best out there, the chicken more than makes up for it. Glistening with oil and interspersed with charred corners, the chicken is savory and sinfully indulgent! Also, it went very well with the sweet chili sauce. Certainly a good way to start the day!

The daily bowl and the burrito here were our go-to clean(er) meals back in Farrer Park. Sure, itโ€™s not a legit Mexican nor Turkish joint per se, but still a satisfying meal nonetheless!

The chicken is definitely loads better than the beef, which is like a minced meat tomato-ey stew. I like the occasional crispy bits (after one too many rounds on the rotisserie carousel) interspersed with the tender and tasty chook slivers. You get to pick up to five โ€œbasesโ€ โ€“ cabbage, lettuce, onion, tomato and cucumber โ€“ plus five more toppings including broccoli, soba, beetroot, cilantro rice, couscous and black beans! You can also add guac, cheese and hummus for an additional dollar. For the sauces, I like the Mayo Cucumber plus just a touch of the Habanero (careful, itโ€™s super spicy)!

I only chanced upon the 3-month old outlet of Stuff'd in the basement of Bugis Junction this afternoon. But I can already envision becoming a regular after enjoying a most satisfying takeaway lunch from here. A Halal-certified brand, Stuff'd serves up really fresh, flavourful Mexican and Turkish food for a flat fee of $6.80 (unless you want an extra base of hummus, guacamole or cheese, then that's $1 more). It took me just 5 steps to have a yummy value-for-money meal ready to grab and go.
Step 1 involved choosing from the four options of a quesadilla, burrito, kebab or bowl (which basically means no carbs, so everything is piled into a plastic container - this is what I had). Step 2 was to add any or all of the assorted veg (of course I asked to have everything). For Step 3, I was allowed to pick two sauces from the available six (the super spicy habanero and refreshing cucumber mayo were recommended, so I went for those and they proved to be awesome!). Step 4 was all about the meat (I loved their tender, spicy beef chilli con carne but if red meat's not your thing, there's grilled chicken). Last but not least came the toppings: butter corn, adobo black beans, couscous, mashed potatoes and cilantro rice. I didn't want to load up on carbs today so the first two was enough.
Even as I chomped my way through the blast of flavours in my bowl, I couldn't stop myself from raving about its deliciousness to everyone else in my office. Now it seems they're planning to get Stuff'd soon too ๐Ÿ˜

Burritos! Not sure how it suppose to taste like but its not that bad! Ordered beef burritos. Choose ur own veggie and sauces. Sweet thai chili and Habanero sauce (becareful this sauce is quite spicy but its good for me!) They are not stingy with the filling so its bigger than 6inch subway. 6.80 for burrito Price: $$ i think its average but worth it. New lunch fav woots! #burpple new outlet at basement 1
