The crab meat chunks were huge and tender, generously blanketing the sheets of carbs. With a al dente squid ink pasta that held on to the right amount of creamy tomato base, I wish I ordered one for myself instead of sharing πŸ¦‘πŸ¦‘

This is like the MUST HAVE dish on every table!!!!! Bread was also served warm with a side pesto/olive oil dip. Combo was insanely appetising! I'm quite picky about my bread and cheese but these 2 simple dishes were done to perfection.

The first bite really impressed me! The sauce was creamy but not gelat like most cream-based pasta (you can really tell that they used good quality cream and cheese). Lobster was abit small but super juicy and QQ if you know what I mean. LOVED IT

my first bite sent me straight to pasta heaven. if you are a cream based pasta lover, or not!!!, u will definitely love this. i actually prefer aglio olio style pastas because i find cream pastas too heavy after a while but this sauce is magical.. perfect balance of creamy and light but sooo rich in flavour, with a seafood-y fragrance that’s enhanced by the fresh and fleshy lobster meat chunks scattered generously throughout the dish. also can i just mention that this was my first time trying squid ink pasta and boy am i glad it was this plate.

The Fettuccine al Granchio ($29.90) was delicious. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente tossed with a creamy tomato crab meat sauce. I also like the friendliness of the service staff and the family run vibe of the establishment.

One of the better place serving authentic Italian pasta in my opinion. Anyone has any other good pasta recommendations? ⁣

The journey to this restaurant was filled with frustrations. Located at a corner of Grandstand, it was rather hard to locate them until we got help from the concierge. Thankfully, their food made up for it πŸ‘πŸΌ my truffle fungi ravioli was πŸ’― do not belittle the small portion, I was utterly full by the time I cleared half the plate. ⁣

The boy brought me here on our anniversary dinner. Its a posh place with strong italian influence, I especially enjoyed the Burrata e Datterini. ($29.90) A dollop of cheese which I remember to date. Its super springy and chewy and it doesn’t overpower. The tomatoes were acidic and fresh, paired with the caviar - it was beyond yummy and i’m not even a cheese lover at that. Suitable for sharing for 2-3 pax.

This is worth a trip down to the grand stand! It now has a special place in my heart. :-)

This is one dish I would highly recommend here. The sauce was delightfully creamy and although not the best rendition I've had of a tomato and cream based sauce, the generous CHUNKS of fresh lobster meat more than made up for it. Squid ink pasta was definitely one of the better ones around; no fishy taste and perfectly firm to the bite. πŸ‘Œ

If you like your gnocchi to be pillowy soft, this is one for you! I like mine to be on the chewy side, so unfortunately I wasn't able to appreciate this as much, though they were really fluffy and light. Sauce was rich, but a little one dimensional after a few bites in.

The flavours on this dish was on point, and I loved that the simple ingredients really worked well with each other. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar, along with the salty homemade caviar and sweet cherry tomatoes truly brought out the flavours of the cheese. However, the burrata itself, though decent, was not mindblowing and certainly not the best I've had. Still, a pretty good appetiser together with their freshly toasted homemade ciabatta!

Love the 300g full burata and live Boston lobster in creamy tomato and aglio olio. There was still yummy saffron parmesan risotto but too bad I forgot to take picture! Every Wednesday is lobster night and you get fresh Boston live lobster pasta at $45! And not forgetting the super friendly chef Valentino who gave lots of tips on wine and Italy! #burpple #italianofood #italianfood #burrata #parmaham #lobsterpasta

Fresh creamy cow's milk cheese with Italian Datterini tomato. At $55.90, it's slightly on the steep side. Not the best I've had as it's not as creamy as i would have liked but the tomatoes more than made up for it!

While they are generally quite pricey, They had a ala-carte lunch buffet on Saturday at $45++ where they serve things in tasting portions so we felt it was worth a shot.

One of my favourites were their squid ink fettuccine with crab meat in their tomato cream sauce. Omg i could've eaten 10 plates of it. The pasta was al-dente and the crab came in giant chunks, not the wispy kind you get at some places. Tomato sauce wasnt too acidic but was pleasant and rich. Damn comforting.

Also check out their braised beef and pork cheeks! Skip the pizzas because its pretty ordinary. Service was good and the waiters were frank with their recommendations telling us what was better than others. :P Such candour.

You know what they say about your last meal on earth? I'll pick Valentino over and over again. Come during lunch for their ala carte buffet and you can have more than 10 portions of this amazing pasta.

Friday date night at Valentino for authentic Italian cuisine. Had bruschetta for starters and ravioli for mains. Ricotta cheese-stuffed ravioli was lightly tossed in olive oil and with porcini mushroom; quality ingredients simply put together, but such a satisfying dish. The risotto was the more hearty option: cheese-cream-based risotto paired with beef cheeks so soft and tender it just melts. 😌

It such a delight to twirl your fork around the squid ink pasta, at the same time getting a substantial amount of creamy tomato sauce coating. A match made in heaven πŸ’†

Glorious, glorious T-bone steak from Valentino's - cooked to a perfect medium rare. Each piece is incredibly tender with a nice amount of fat that just melts in your mouth.
