I didn't know they use a chicken-pork broth. But I'm not against chicken broths lah. My only gripe is the broth was excessively thick, almost starchy.
This is with all toppings and extra noodles hahaha. Rarely I eat ramen until so satisfied. There's mapo tofu, onsen egg, spring onion and three meats! The slight flaw was the chilli oil was a bit choking to drink.
The stall claims to not use any MSG, but the chicken broth is naturally rich in flavour which was satisfying. While I still prefer tonkotsu broth for my ramen, this bowl is still a pleasant choice as it presents itself as a simple delicacy. A relatively small shop, but the staff were very welcoming and kind. For a 4.5 star rating on Google, I was pretty excited for Matsuri and expecting to be mindblown, though alas, there was nothing much that stood out to me in particular. Maybe I tried the wrong dish?

Thick ramen noodles generously crowned with spring onions, onsen egg, seaweed, and spicy minced meats. It's like Dan Dan noodles but with a Japanese twist. The noodles are incredibly slurpy and bursting with flavour. For an extra kick, add some fried garlic. Once you've savoured all the noodles, don't hesitate to request a small saucer plate of rice to mix with any leftover sauce. And here's a bonus β if you're feeling particularly hungry, you're in for a treat as they offer a free upsize on the noodles. Plus, there's a complimentary jug of cold tea on the table, perfect for quenching your thirst.
Pro tip: Arrive early to avoid the queue.

Stated as the number 1 rich chicken soup in Singapore since 2014, most people would come here for their signature chicken broth ramen or mazesoba.
The Torikoku Special would be their signature chicken broth ramen, comes with 2 type of meats in the bowl. You get both chashu and chicken fillet, which both complement with smooth texture.
The chicken broth has the subtle hints of chicken stock aroma in it.
Perfect for a rainy day - chicken ramen with gyoza
Around $22/pax
Comes with free upsize noodles and they have dry ramen as well. Apparently itβs the sister stall of Kajiken. Have been to Kajiken countless of times but first time here and enjoyed their soup ramen.
