Ok only - average durian taste. We canât expect mush for $2.50 for 2 balls. Itâs still nice but not very satisfying. Itâs like soft mushy durian cake.
National Day Special
.
Available from 17-23 Aug
.
Comes in a yellow pastry skin and is packed with chicken, onion and potato alongside a smooth and buttery spicy gravy
.
The buttery spicy gravy compliment the chicken, onion and potato filling
.
And it gave a good amount of spice kick
âThe Mala ChickenâO will be available from Jan. 2 to March, 2020 and consists of spicy mala chicken fillings, bamboo shoots, peanuts, onions and mala spices, encased in a buttery pastry.â This was quite an interesting item on the menu! There was a numbing sensation from the mala, so I think it did live up to its name... the chicken pieces were tender too. The only weird part was that the bamboo shoots were not crunchy and had a funny bite to them.
Itâs very cheap, just $2.50 for the Mee Siam! Nice!
Egg, Chicken, Peanut, Ikan Bilis and Sambal Chili ă1 for $2 / 2 for $3.50
I thought this was quite nice on itâs own without linking it to Nasi Lemak as it doesnât contain lemak (coconut) in itâs list of ingredients.
These twists of traditional economic beehoon were so affordable and delicious!! The flavours of laksa and mee siam stood out and the side dishes (classic OCK fried food đ) were great as always. Loved the huge glass of milo in the cute mug too!
