itās a deep fried wrap over rice. v satisfying and i loved the crunch
would particularly recommend:
- beer-battered fish tacos
- chipotle chicken quesadillas
- la tropicana mocktail
Went to Chimichanga for dinner 2 days ago and ordered their Pico De Gallo Quesadillas and their Loaded Nachos Chicken for 2 pax!š
Overall ratings 7/10! Portion size for the nachos were generous, Quesadilla is good too but service is pretty bad...ā¹ļø
After more than 4 months, finally back here to try the Chimicanga and I ordered the chicken nachos ($16) which has mixed of lots of ingredients and sauces
surprisingly good!! always walked past this place and never tried it. the margharita happy hour ($9 each) was super worth it and yummy, and our mains were good too
Pulled pork was lean but not dry, but not as juicy as others that I have tasted, tho it was still alright as it had a nice natural porky flavour. This contained cheese, black beans, rice, lettuce, and jalapeƱos - I particularly liked the cilantro rice! It was also served with sour cream, guac and pico de gallo. Overall, even tho it wasnāt *super* flavourful, I enjoyed how light yet tasty it was, not heavy like some sloppier burritos out there.
I have a soft spot for mushroom quesadillas, and this was enjoyable as expected. Melty cheese and juicy mushrooms are always a good combination - not too salty as well. The flour tortilla is grilled and so itās not floppy, and very easy to eat, nothing rly spills out. Itās also served with guac, pico de gallo and sour cream!
Chicken was alright, tho could have been more moist/tender. The charred onions were very good - soaked up the sauce and was very flavourful. Itās served on a sizzling hot plate, and comes with 3 flour tortillas (you can order more tortillas at $1/tortilla, as itās likely not enough for the amount of chicken there is), and a plate of lettuce, guac, pick de gallo, and sour cream for that refreshing flavour. Itās not a must get but fajitas are something we always get for a Mexican family meal, so thereās that nostalgic factor for me!
I donāt usually drink alcohol so I have no idea whatās the standard. This is the classic margarita we get at Mexican restaurants, it satisfies! Sangria was light and easy to drink as well.
One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in Singapore. Ordered the Fajitas and Nachos. Quite a bit of heat in both from the green peppers.
First the fajitas. The guacamole and sour cream cheese spreads were wonderful, each delivering different taste sensations. The beef was very tender and the dough wrap came warm and had a bit of chew. It soaks up the gravy well.
The nachos were cracker crispy and went well with the cheese, bean and beef dip slathered generously over the nachos. Would have been happier if they give us more cheese.
Price wise, not the cheapest but hey this is to be expected from a restaurant in Holland Village.
Order the fish taco again along with chicken quesadillas. Very delicious and as good as Little India outlet.
Place is bigger and more hype bar place in Holland Village outlet.
