The early bird gets the egg tarts—literally. After multiple weekend visits to micro | red house, only to be met with disappointment as their famed sourdough egg tarts were sold out, I finally got lucky!
Thanks to an early morning event nearby, we managed to snag a box of three. The moment I bit into that ultra-crispy crust, paired with the smooth, creamy eggy filling, it was pure satisfaction. Now, I’m even more excited to finally plan that HK trip and try the one that took social media by storm last year!
It's a very particular note of orange that's combined w the cold brew, giving it a very complex taste that's super unique but also ABIT weird, cos it tastes like there's a hint of medicine to me
It's still more cake like than fudge like, despite the look. Medium density, the chocolate chunks are absolutely ginormous. At least 5x your normal chocolate chunk size
I don't understand the zucchini, it's just tiny bits and really imperceptible
Not too bad, the orange was not v strong. It's difficult to eat tho because it tends to crumble
The place needs no introduction as a sourdough centric bakehouse but what I do love too are things like this danish like cinnamon bun and no (or built in) GST and service charge policy that keeps the prices as what is stated :)
