Was served complimentary hot tea after seated. The broth grew sweeter as it cooked. Packed with slices of coconut flesh, wedges of corn, red dates, chicken pieces, water chestnuts, lemongrass, and lime leaves. For the little one, there’s Complimentary Kids Meal which was consisted of Porridge, deep fried mantou, anddeep fried luncheon meat. The star of the appetizer buffet counter was the braised pork rice. Very tender in tender. At the end the meal, was served frozen lime flavoured drink.

The outlet was located just across the bus stop. There’s both indoor air con and outdoor alfresco dining area. As it was rather hot that day, I decided on indoor which was a welcome relief from the hot blast outside. The restaurant had a rather traditional look with photos and products framing the walls. The restaurant had a relaxing feel with soft music in the background. Service was smooth and swift. The menu had quite a wide variety with a section on homemade pasta where one could customize the pasta dish. There’s also a wine list available too.
I was served with iced water and toasts with olive oil dip which were complimentary. Food was served quite fast. The cannelloni ricotta e spinach (S$25.90++) which was a rare find on the menu, was well cooked and tasty. The serving may looked small but it was just nice for me.

The sauce was quite flavourful and the chicken feet soaked up the flavours quite well.
Fried Rice with Olive Vegetable and Chicken Cube 榄菜鸡粒炒饭 (S$5.80)
Ipoh Spicy Fried Meat 恰保香辣炸肉 (S$7)
The meat was actually quite fatty but it didn’t feel overwhelming. Spicy and tasty. Best accompanying a bottle of beer.
Baby Octopus In Soy Sauce 清甜八爪鱼 (S$11.80)
The octopus was cut up into pieces, steamed in soy sauce and topped with fried garlic and chopped spring onion. Served with a chilli sauce dip. Wish the octopus was served whole for more texture.
Fried Rice with Dace and Salted Black Bean 豆豉鲮鱼炒饭 (S$6)
Had canned Dace and Salted Black Bean with plain porridge before. Never thought that it could be used for fried rice and actually tasted very delicious.
