Visited Ma Maison for their Weekday Lunch Set and the Hamburg Steak Lunch ($17.80) comes with soup, mini salad, hamburg steak, choice of rice or bread, and a drink of your choice (or ice cream). As usual, their hamburg steak was juicy and delicious and it goes well with the rice and sunny side up. Can’t get enough of this!

Ma Maison's beef stroganoff omu rice is one of our go to dishes.

The braised beef chunks can be a little hit and miss at times (too small bits or too sinewy) but we love the thick flavourful stroganoff sauce with the creamy egg omelette!

For those not in the know, Ma Maison serves a daily set lunch with fixed items and daily specials.

The hamburger steak set is one of their fixed lunch sets. For less than $20, you get a hamburger steak topped with a fried egg and served with a brown sauce, salad, rice, a soup of the day and a drink.

It is good value for an easy and tasty meal which everyone can enjoy!

Ma Maison serves yoshoku or Japanese-Western cuisine, and is our go-to spot for a slightly more atas dinner date (we are usually the Saizeriya sort of couple haha).

Yoshoku or western-influenced Japanese cooking features dishes that we usually find in a western restaurant. What makes it different is that the flavours in Yoshoku cuisine are usually more mellow and 'cleaner'.

Ma Maison's signature starter of escargot in garlic butter is a prime example. The garlic butter is light, smooth with a tinge of the spicy nutty flavour of garlic and serves to accentuate the mild salty taste of the snails. We love that the snail meat is firm, chewy and yet tender.

$21.80++ The pork was a little tough for me and might have been better if I ordered their other signatures eg steak / pasta / tonkatsu

Tried the beef cutlet which was not bad and the beef was not too chewy. Had the onion soup which we really enjoyed as a starter. Alcohol promotion is worth it as we get to choose from beer 1for1 or highball 1for1.
