Visited Tan Ser Seng Herbal Soup with my partner around 8pm, and even though they were getting ready to close, the staff still welcomed us in. I had the famous Ginseng Black Chicken Soup, which was deeply nourishing with a clean and aromatic herbal taste. The chicken was very tender, and it came with a generous portion. The Premier Fish Maw and Abalone Soup was boiled until thick and velvety, with a rich flavour in every sip.

The Claypot Turtle Soup was already sold out by the time we arrived, so I will try it on my next visit. We also had the Original Signature Jade Tofu, which had a crispy seaweed coating and soft tofu inside, and the Handmade Prawn Ball, which was bouncy, packed with ingredients, and very tasty. The yam rice was the hidden factor that brought everything together, soaking up the rich soup and adding a fragrant, comforting note to the meal.

Had one of the best herbal soups ever and ordered the tofu as a side dish. The tofu paired wonderfully with the sauce provided, and the chicken in the soup was incredibly tender. The portions are generous too! Highly recommend

This was my first experience with turtle soup, and it proved to be an impressive dish. The soup was rich and flavorful, with a distinctive herby taste that set it apart. The turtle meat was tender and cooked to perfection, offering a comforting and satisfying texture. Additionally, the black chicken soup was meticulously prepared, with the chicken so tender it practically melted in the mouth. As a complement to the soups, the handmade tofu and fried prawns were excellent side dishes that paired beautifully with the main offerings.

Lastly would like to mention the staff service was exceptional—prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable, providing insightful recommendations and making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Tried this well-known herbal soup restaurant and it met expectations. Claypot turtle soup and black chicken soup had strong herbal flavor, with tender meat. Homemade prawn roll and jade tofu were good additions to the meal. Worth a visit if you're looking for a nutritious soup and hearty meals!

I tried their White chicken soup, tofu and the omelette. It was good and a comforting meal. The soup was super flavourful and chicken falls off the bone, definitely comfort food especially if it is raining or ure feeling sick.

I tried the Fish Maw & Abalone soup, Omelette and Dish Jade Tofu! I was impressed by how the soup tasted very nourishing. The fish maw and abalone used were both very fresh and tender! Omelette came with the preserved radish (it is often eaten with chwee kueh) which surprisingly was a great combination. Will be back to try the other soup!
